Order from wherever you are for flowers arranged and delivered locally in Harpenden. Choose the flowers with the recipient in mind, thinking about their personal tastes and the tone you want the gift to convey when it arrives. The order can be paid for online in your own currency. Your order includes a card at no extra cost, carrying your message without edits. Read the message through before confirming your order, checking personal names and adding the signature you want the recipient to see when they open the card. Park Hall is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door. Local landmarks such as Rothamsted Park are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
Order before 18:00 in the destination’s local time for same-day delivery in Harpenden. Include the full delivery address and postcode, the recipient’s name and a phone number the florist can use if details need checking. Add the building’s entry code to the delivery details when a code is needed. If the recipient’s address is in Batford, keep that locality in the full delivery address.
Before sending to Spire Hospital, confirm flower acceptance with the ward and enter the hospital’s own delivery address. For a patient at Harpenden Memorial Hospital, ask the relevant ward about flower deliveries before ordering and use the hospital’s address as the destination. The location listed for Spire Hospital is Ambrose Lane; confirm the appropriate entrance or delivery point with the hospital before using this address for flowers.
When several people are giving the flowers together at Sir John Lawes School, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out. Sending flowers to someone at St George's School? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient.
For a service at St Nicholas's Church, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed. For a service at All Saints, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there. When a funeral service is held at Harpenden Methodist Church, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive.
If a flower in the chosen arrangement is unavailable, the florist may use a replacement of equal or greater value while preserving the style of the arrangement.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. Use the order notes to explain any timing request.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
An order addressed to Harpenden Town Hall should identify the organisation and recipient’s department; ask about personal deliveries first.
If the destination is in Roundwood, retain the locality name as part of the full address.
Before ordering flowers for a celebration at Giggling Squid, check that the restaurant can keep them until the party arrives, and give the booking name so staff can match them to the right table.
