Ordering from abroad? A local florist prepares and delivers your flowers in Heworth. Choose the flowers with the recipient in mind, thinking about their personal tastes and the tone you want the gift to convey when it arrives. Checkout lets you pay in your own currency. Your message is reproduced without changes on the complimentary card included with the order. Take a moment to review the names, spelling and signature before confirming, so the message you submit says what you intended and clearly identifies who it is from. People locate the town by Railway Workers War Memorial in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination. War Memorial is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door.

Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
To order flowers for same-day delivery in Heworth, use the destination’s 18:00 local cutoff. Give the recipient’s full name, street and number, postcode and town, plus a contact phone number for address queries. Include an entry code with the order if one is required to access the building. For a recipient whose address is in Derwenthorpe, keep that place name in the address you enter.
Before sending flowers to St Peter's 8–13, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free.
If the service takes place at York Community Church, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it. Flowers for a service at Bar Convent Chapel are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them.
If a flower is unavailable, its replacement keeps the style and is of equal or greater value.
You may request a preferred delivery time, but an exact hour is not guaranteed: the request is a preference rather than a booked delivery appointment. Use the order notes to explain any timing request.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
For a guest at Roomzzz, confirm that the hotel accepts flower deliveries and provide the name used for the reservation.
If the recipient works at Mallard House, ask about personal flower deliveries and identify the organisation and their department in the address.
When entering an address in Tang Hall, include the locality as well as the street and postcode.
Confirm the delivery point and handover arrangements with The Co-operative Funeralcare before using it as the address for a funeral tribute. If flowers are going to York Cemetery, check the opening hours for the day of the service and agree a handover point rather than relying on a plot number.
For a table booked at Tang Dynasty, flowers are usually handed over at reception rather than carried to the table, so agree with the restaurant beforehand when and where they should arrive.
