You’ll pick the city and day on the product
A florist in Hitchin handles the arrangement and delivery when you order from abroad. When choosing the flowers, consider the recipient’s tastes and whether you want the gift to feel personal, formal or understated for the person receiving it. Place your order online and pay in your own currency. A free card message is included, with your wording kept exactly as you write it. Before confirming the order, check the spelling of names and sign the message as you want the recipient to read it, especially when ordering for someone else. People locate the town by Broadway Gardens in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination. Local landmarks such as Centenary Commemorative Plaque to Elizabeth Poston, 2005 are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
The order must be placed before 18:00 local time for same-day flowers in Hitchin. Use the full destination address on the order: street and number, postcode and town, followed by the recipient’s name and contact number. Any required building access code should accompany the order. When entering an address in Walsworth, include the locality as well as the street and postcode.
Check that Premier Inn can accept flowers for the guest before ordering, using the reservation name to identify them. Sending to Offley Place Country House Hotel? Check acceptance with the hotel and put the reservation name on the order. If the recipient is staying at Redcoats Farmhouse Hotel, ask about flower delivery arrangements and give the name on their reservation. The street address listed for Premier Inn is Portmill Lane; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
When several people are giving the flowers together at Whitehill Junior School, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out.
For a service at Church of St Mary Magdalene, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there. For a service at St Mary's, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed. When a funeral service is held at St Faith's Church, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive.
If a flower is unavailable, its replacement keeps the style and is of equal or greater value.
You may request a preferred delivery time, but an exact hour is not guaranteed: the request is a preference rather than a booked delivery appointment. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Before sending to a workplace such as Hitchin Town Hall, check acceptance and include the organisation and department in the address.
An address in Bearton should retain that locality alongside the other delivery details.
Before sending a tribute to The Vale Cemetery and Crematorium, ask which gate is used for deliveries and whether somebody needs to be there to receive it.
If the flowers are meant as a surprise at Granello Lounge, say so when you book: staff can usually keep them out of sight until the moment you have in mind.
The listed gift categories include gift baskets, plants, chocolates, wine, champagne and cakes; check the selected product’s availability when ordering.
