You can order flowers for Langholm online from another country, with local preparation and delivery. For a personal gift, let the recipient’s tastes guide your choice of flowers and consider whether a relaxed, romantic or more formal style would suit them. When you complete the order, you pay online in your own currency. There is no charge for the accompanying card, which uses your message exactly as supplied. Read the message through before confirming your order, checking personal names and adding the signature you want the recipient to see when they open the card. Hugh MacDiarmid Memorial Cairn is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door. People locate the town by Langholm Common Riding 250th Anniversary Cairn in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination.

Use the full destination address on the order: street and number, postcode and town, followed by the recipient’s name and contact number. Any required building access code should accompany the order.
For flowers addressed to a guest at Eskdale hotel, first ask the hotel whether it accepts deliveries and use the guest’s reservation name in the order. Sending to The Douglas? Check acceptance with the hotel and put the reservation name on the order.
For a delivery to a teacher at Langholm Academy, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person. Before sending flowers to Langholm Primary School, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free.
Flowers for a service at Erskine Church are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. For a service at Langholm Parish Church, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed.
If a flower in the chosen arrangement is unavailable, the florist may use a replacement of equal or greater value while preserving the style of the arrangement.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. Add timing preferences in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
When addressing flowers to a guest at Buck Hotel, supply the booking name and confirm acceptance with the hotel.
When the recipient is at Thomas Hope Hospital, the destination should be the hospital’s full address, after confirmation that the ward accepts flowers.
