You do not need to be in Lawrence Hill to order: a local florist prepares and delivers flowers sent from abroad. Think about the person receiving the flowers when making your choice, from their preferred style to whether the gift is personal or sent on behalf of others. Checkout lets you pay in your own currency. Write your message for the included card, free of charge and without changes to your wording. Check the wording and names before submitting the order, and include your signature or the names of the people sending the gift so the sender is clear. Local landmarks such as Caerleon Cenotaph Gardens are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark. People locate the town by Sir Briggs memorial in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
Planning a same-day delivery in Lawrence Hill? The ordering deadline is 18:00 local time. For the delivery address, provide the recipient’s full name and telephone number along with the street, house number, postcode and town. Provide the code needed to enter the building, where applicable. An address in Trinity View should retain that locality alongside the other delivery details.
A flower order for someone staying at Belvilla Newport City Centre should use the booking name; check acceptance with the hotel first. The address given for Belvilla Newport City Centre is High Street 55; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
A delivery for St Michael's R.C. Primary School is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department. Before sending flowers to Lliswerry High School, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free. When several people are giving the flowers together at Llantarnam Community Primary School, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out.
For a service at St John's, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there. Flowers for a service at Church of Saint Michael and All Angels are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. For a service at Ebbw Bridge Baptist Church, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed.
If a flower in the chosen arrangement is unavailable, the florist may use a replacement of equal or greater value while preserving the style of the arrangement.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
For a recipient at Newport Magistrates' Court, include the organisation’s name and any floor or department, and check whether personal deliveries are accepted.
If flowers are going to Christchurch Cemetery, check the opening hours for the day of the service and agree a handover point rather than relying on a plot number.
A delivery timed for a meal at Hong Sheng needs the reservation name and the sitting; ask whether an earlier drop-off suits the restaurant better than one during service.
