Same Day Delivery
Ordering from abroad? A local florist prepares and delivers your flowers in Longniddry. Choose the flowers with the recipient in mind, thinking about their personal tastes and the tone you want the gift to convey when it arrives. Checkout lets you pay in your own currency. A personal message accompanies the flowers on a free card, using exactly the words you provide. Read the message through before confirming your order, checking personal names and adding the signature you want the recipient to see when they open the card. People locate the town by Tranent-Cockenzie Waggonway in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination.

Same-day orders for Longniddry close at 18:00 local time. For the delivery address, provide the recipient’s full name and telephone number along with the street, house number, postcode and town. Supply any necessary door code as part of the delivery instructions. If the recipient’s address is in Cockenzie, keep that locality in the full delivery address.
For a delivery to a teacher at Aberlady Primary School, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person. Sending flowers to someone at Longniddry Primary School? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient. When several people are giving the flowers together at Macmerry Primary School, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out.
When a funeral service is held at Aberlady Parish Church, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive. If the service takes place at Cockenzie and Port Seton Old Parish Church, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it. For a service at Elcho Place Hall, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there.
An unavailable flower may be replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Where the delivery address includes Port Seton, retain the locality when filling in the order.
Confirm the delivery point and handover arrangements with Buchanan & Hogg before using it as the address for a funeral tribute.
If the flowers are meant as a surprise at Giancarlo's, say so when you book: staff can usually keep them out of sight until the moment you have in mind.
Other listed options include gift baskets, plants, chocolates, wine, champagne and cakes. Check availability for the product you choose.
