A florist in Penzance handles the arrangement and delivery when you order from abroad. When choosing the flowers, consider the recipient’s tastes and whether you want the gift to feel personal, formal or understated for the person receiving it. When you complete the order, you pay online in your own currency. The included card carries your personal message word for word, with no additional charge. Take a moment to review the names, spelling and signature before confirming, so the message you submit says what you intended and clearly identifies who it is from. Local landmarks such as Battery Point War Memorial are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark. Dolly Pentreath Memorial is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door.

Include the full delivery address and postcode, the recipient’s name and a phone number the florist can use if details need checking. Any required building access code should accompany the order. Where the delivery address includes Wherrytown, retain the locality when filling in the order.
Check the flower policy of the relevant ward before ordering for West Cornwall Hospital (Penzance), using the hospital’s own address for the destination. The street address listed for West Cornwall Hospital (Penzance) is St Clare Street; confirm the appropriate entrance or delivery point with the hospital before using this address for flowers.
A guest’s reservation name should accompany an order for Chapel House, after you have checked with the hotel that a flower delivery can be accepted. If the recipient is staying at Premier Inn, ask about flower delivery arrangements and give the name on their reservation. Before ordering for a guest at Beachfield Hotel, ask the hotel about flower deliveries and confirm the reservation name. The location listed for Chapel House is Chapel Street; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
When a funeral service is held at Chapel Street Methodist Church, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive. Flowers for a service at St-Pol-de-Leon are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them.
If a flower in the chosen arrangement is unavailable, the florist may use a replacement of equal or greater value while preserving the style of the arrangement.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. Add timing preferences in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
If the recipient works at Penzance Town Hall, ask about personal flower deliveries and identify the organisation and their department in the address.
If the recipient’s address is in Treneere, keep that locality in the full delivery address.
Confirm the delivery point and handover arrangements with Peakes of Tolcarne before using it as the address for a funeral tribute. A tribute addressed to Penzance Cemetery should carry the name of the person it is for and the time of the service: a cemetery covers more ground than a single address.
If the flowers are meant as a surprise at The Old Lifeboat House Bistro, say so when you book: staff can usually keep them out of sight until the moment you have in mind.
Other listed options include gift baskets, plants, chocolates, wine, champagne and cakes. Check availability for the product you choose.
Sending flowers to someone at Humphry Davy School? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient.
