You do not need to be in Reading to order: a local florist prepares and delivers flowers sent from abroad. Think about the person receiving the flowers when making your choice, from their preferred style to whether the gift is personal or sent on behalf of others. Place your order online and pay in your own currency. A personal message accompanies the flowers on a free card, using exactly the words you provide. Read the message through before confirming your order, checking personal names and adding the signature you want the recipient to see when they open the card. George Palmer is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door. People locate the town by Maiwand Lion in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination.

Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
For same-day flower delivery in Reading, place your order before 18:00 local time. When completing the delivery details, enter the recipient’s full name, street address, number, postcode and town, together with a contact telephone number. When the entrance uses a code, add it before completing the order. Where the delivery address includes Caversham, retain the locality when filling in the order.
Before sending to Spire Dunedin Hospital, confirm flower acceptance with the ward and enter the hospital’s own delivery address. When the recipient is at Prospect Park Hospital, the destination should be the hospital’s full address, after confirmation that the ward accepts flowers. For a recipient at Berkshire Independent Hospital, check with the hospital and ward that flowers are accepted, then use the hospital’s full address. For an order addressed to Spire Dunedin Hospital, the listed location is Bath Road 16; confirm the appropriate entrance or delivery point with the hospital before using this address for flowers.
Before ordering for a guest at Hilton Reading, ask the hotel about flower deliveries and confirm the reservation name. If you are sending to a guest of Pentahotel Reading, check the hotel’s arrangements for accepting flowers and address the order using the name on the reservation. Check with The George Hotel before sending flowers for a guest, and supply the name on the booking. For an order addressed to Hilton Reading, the listed location is Drake Way; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
For a service at St. Laurences Church, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there. Flowers for a service at Christ Church are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. When a funeral service is held at Grace Church Caversham, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive.
An unavailable flower may be replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. Use the order notes to explain any timing request.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Address flowers for someone at Berkshire Record Office with the organisation and department clearly identified, after checking that personal deliveries are accepted.
Keep the locality on the order when the recipient’s address is in Green Park.
Confirm the delivery point and handover arrangements with A.B. Walker & Son before using it as the address for a funeral tribute. Before sending a tribute to Reading Old Cemetery, ask which gate is used for deliveries and whether somebody needs to be there to receive it.
For a table booked at The World Upside Down, flowers are usually handed over at reception rather than carried to the table, so agree with the restaurant beforehand when and where they should arrive.
Other listed options include gift baskets, plants, chocolates, wine, champagne and cakes. Check availability for the product you choose.
When several people are giving the flowers together at Caversham Primary School, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out.
A delivery for Highdown School and Sixth Form Centre is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department.
Sending flowers to someone at Kendrick School? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient.
