You do not need to be in Salford to order: a local florist prepares and delivers flowers sent from abroad. Think about the person receiving the flowers when making your choice, from their preferred style to whether the gift is personal or sent on behalf of others. At checkout, the order is paid online in your own currency. Your message is reproduced without changes on the complimentary card included with the order. Take a moment to review the names, spelling and signature before confirming, so the message you submit says what you intended and clearly identifies who it is from. People locate the town by 3rd Duke of Bridgewater's monument in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination. Motorway opening marker stone is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
The same-day ordering cutoff in Salford is 18:00, local time. The order needs the recipient’s full name, a contact number and the complete destination address, including its street number, postcode and town. Any required building access code should accompany the order. For someone in Blackfriars, use that locality name within the delivery address.
Ask whether flowers are accepted by the recipient’s ward at Salford Royal Hospital, and address the order to the hospital itself. For a patient at Oaklands Hospital, ask the relevant ward about flower deliveries before ordering and use the hospital’s address as the destination. Check the flower policy of the relevant ward before ordering for Braeburn House, using the hospital’s own address for the destination. The location listed for Salford Royal Hospital is Stott Lane; confirm the appropriate entrance or delivery point with the hospital before using this address for flowers.
If you are sending to a guest of Holiday Inn Express, check the hotel’s arrangements for accepting flowers and address the order using the name on the reservation. Use the reservation name for a delivery addressed to The Lowry Hotel, after checking that the hotel can accept flowers. A flower order for someone staying at Maldron Hotel Manchester Cathedral Quarter should use the booking name; check acceptance with the hotel first. The location listed for Holiday Inn Express is Waterfront Quay; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
Flowers for a service at Eccles Parish, St Mary the Virgin;St Mary The Virgin are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. For a service at The Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed. When a funeral service is held at Sacred Trinity Church, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive.
If a flower is unavailable, its replacement keeps the style and is of equal or greater value.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. Use the order notes to explain any timing request.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Before ordering a tribute for delivery to Laithwaites Funeralcare, ask the venue to confirm the address and handover arrangements. A tribute addressed to Weaste Cemetery should carry the name of the person it is for and the time of the service: a cemetery covers more ground than a single address.
Before ordering flowers for a celebration at PizzaExpress, check that the restaurant can keep them until the party arrives, and give the booking name so staff can match them to the right table.
The listed gift categories include gift baskets, plants, chocolates, wine, champagne and cakes; check the selected product’s availability when ordering.
When several people are giving the flowers together at AldridgeUTC@MediaCityUK, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out.
Sending flowers to someone at Ellenbrook Community Primary School? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient.
For a delivery to a teacher at James Brindley Community Primary School, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person.
