A flower order for Thornhill can be placed from abroad, with a local florist handling the arrangement and delivery. Choose the flowers with the recipient in mind, thinking about their personal tastes and the tone you want the gift to convey when it arrives. Checkout lets you pay in your own currency. There is no charge for the accompanying card, which uses your message exactly as supplied. Read the message through before confirming your order, checking personal names and adding the signature you want the recipient to see when they open the card. Nith Bridge Cross is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door. People locate the town by Mercat Cross in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination.

When completing the delivery details, enter the recipient’s full name, street address, number, postcode and town, together with a contact telephone number. If the building requires an access code, provide it when placing the order.
For flowers addressed to a guest at The Buccleuch & Queensberry Arms Hotel, first ask the hotel whether it accepts deliveries and use the guest’s reservation name in the order. A guest’s reservation name should accompany an order for Trigony House Hotel, after you have checked with the hotel that a flower delivery can be accepted. If the recipient is staying at Volunteers Arms Hotel, ask about flower delivery arrangements and give the name on their reservation. The Buccleuch & Queensberry Arms Hotel has a listed address of Drumlanrig Street 112; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
When several people are giving the flowers together at Wallace Hall Academy, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out. Sending flowers to someone at Closeburn Primary School? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient. A delivery for Penpont School is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department.
Flowers for a service at Morton Parish Church are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. When a funeral service is held at Penpont Parish Church, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive. For a service at Keir Mill Parish Church, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed.
If a flower is unavailable, its replacement keeps the style and is of equal or greater value.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Sending to a patient at Thornhill Hospital calls for a check with their ward about flowers and the hospital’s complete delivery address on the order.
For a tribute intended for Dalgarnock, confirm with the cemetery where flowers can be accepted and which entrance or meeting point to use before placing the order; a cemetery name alone does not specify the handover location.
For a table booked at Jade Garden, flowers are usually handed over at reception rather than carried to the table, so agree with the restaurant beforehand when and where they should arrive.
