You’ll pick the city and day on the product
For a recipient in Alexandria, you can place the order from abroad and have the flowers prepared locally for delivery. Think about the person receiving the flowers when making your choice, from their preferred style to whether the gift is personal or sent on behalf of others. For payment, checkout uses your own currency. Write your message for the included card, free of charge and without changes to your wording. Check the wording and names before submitting the order, and include your signature or the names of the people sending the gift so the sender is clear. People locate the town by Captain Rocky Versace Vietnam Veterans Memorial in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
To order flowers for same-day delivery in Alexandria, use the destination’s 12:00 local cutoff. Give the recipient’s full name, street and number, postcode and town, plus a contact phone number for address queries. When the entrance uses a code, add it before completing the order. If the destination is in Potomac Yard, retain the locality name as part of the full address.
When addressing flowers to a guest at Hilton Alexandria Mark Center, supply the booking name and confirm acceptance with the hotel. If you are sending to a guest of Residence Inn Alexandria Old Town/Duke Street, check the hotel’s arrangements for accepting flowers and address the order using the name on the reservation. The listed address for Hilton Alexandria Mark Center is Seminary Road 5000; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
A delivery for Francis C. Hammond Middle School is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department. For a delivery to a teacher at Alexandria City High School, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person. Sending flowers to someone at George Washington Middle School? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient.
Flowers for a service at The Basilica of Saint Mary are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them.
An unavailable flower may be replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style.
You may request a preferred delivery time, but an exact hour is not guaranteed: the request is a preference rather than a booked delivery appointment. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
An order for a staff member at Alexandria City Hall should include their organisation and department, with acceptance of flower deliveries checked beforehand.
For a recipient whose address is in Del Ray, keep that place name in the address you enter.
Before sending a tribute to Alexandria National Cemetery, ask which gate is used for deliveries and whether somebody needs to be there to receive it.
A delivery timed for a meal at Glory Days Grill needs the reservation name and the sitting; ask whether an earlier drop-off suits the restaurant better than one during service.
The listed gift categories include gift baskets, plants and chocolates; check the selected product’s availability when ordering.
