For a recipient in Glenmont, you can place the order from abroad and have the flowers prepared locally for delivery. Think about the person receiving the flowers when making your choice, from their preferred style to whether the gift is personal or sent on behalf of others. At checkout, the order is paid online in your own currency. Add the words you want the recipient to read: the card is free and the message is kept unchanged. Check the wording and names before submitting the order, and include your signature or the names of the people sending the gift so the sender is clear. People locate the town by 9/11 Memorial in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
Order before 12:00 in the destination’s local time for same-day delivery in Glenmont. The order needs the recipient’s full name, a contact number and the complete destination address, including its street number, postcode and town. Any required building access code should accompany the order. For someone in Brightwood, use that locality name within the delivery address.
For a delivery to a teacher at Francis Scott Key Middle School, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person. When several people are giving the flowers together at The Barrie School, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out. A delivery for Silver Creek Middle School is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department.
If the service takes place at Washington D.C. Temple, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it. When a funeral service is held at Saint John the Evangelist Church, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive. For a service at Aspen Hill Christian Church, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed.
If a flower in the chosen arrangement is unavailable, the florist may use a replacement of equal or greater value while preserving the style of the arrangement.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
For a guest at Bethesda North Marriott, confirm that the hotel accepts flower deliveries and provide the name used for the reservation.
When ordering for a recipient at U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, check acceptance of personal deliveries and include the organisation and department in the details.
For an address in Chevy Chase, include the locality together with the street, number and postcode.
Before sending a tribute to Parklawn Memorial Park, ask which gate is used for deliveries and whether somebody needs to be there to receive it.
If the flowers are meant as a surprise at Caruso's Grocery, say so when you book: staff can usually keep them out of sight until the moment you have in mind.
You can also browse gift baskets, plants and chocolates, subject to the availability of your chosen product.
