A florist in Ketchikan handles the arrangement and delivery when you order from abroad. When choosing the flowers, consider the recipient’s tastes and whether you want the gift to feel personal, formal or understated for the person receiving it. When you complete the order, you pay online in your own currency. You can write a message for the card without an extra charge, and the wording stays as you entered it. Check the wording and names before submitting the order, and include your signature or the names of the people sending the gift so the sender is clear. Local landmarks such as Lost at Sea Memorial are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
For same-day flower delivery in Ketchikan, place your order before 12:00 local time. Enter the complete street address, postcode and town for the recipient, with their full name and a telephone number for contact. Include an entry code with the order if one is required to access the building.
Use the reservation name for a delivery addressed to My Place Hotel, after checking that the hotel can accept flowers. A flower order for someone staying at Cape Fox Lodge should use the booking name; check acceptance with the hotel first. A guest’s reservation name should accompany an order for New York Hotel and Cafe, after you have checked with the hotel that a flower delivery can be accepted. The street address listed for My Place Hotel is Tongass Avenue 3612; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
When several people are giving the flowers together at Schoenbar Middle School, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out. Sending flowers to someone at Tongass Arts and Science Charter School? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient. Before sending flowers to Ketchikan High School, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free.
For a service at First Lutheran Church, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed. If the service takes place at Holy Name Catholic Church, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it. Flowers for a service at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them.
If a flower in the chosen arrangement is unavailable, the florist may use a replacement of equal or greater value while preserving the style of the arrangement.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. Add timing preferences in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Check whether Ketchikan Federal Building accepts flowers for staff before ordering, and include the organisation and any department in the delivery details.
For a table booked at Godfather's Pizza, flowers are usually handed over at reception rather than carried to the table, so agree with the restaurant beforehand when and where they should arrive.
The listed gift categories include gift baskets, plants and chocolates; check the selected product’s availability when ordering.
Check with the ward at Peace Health Ketchikan Medical Ceneter before ordering flowers, and use the hospital’s own address for the delivery.
Tongass Avenue 3100 is the listed address of Peace Health Ketchikan Medical Ceneter; confirm the appropriate entrance or delivery point with the hospital before using this address for flowers.
