You’ll pick the city and day on the product
A flower order for Lafayette can be placed from abroad, with a local florist handling the arrangement and delivery. Choose the flowers with the recipient in mind, thinking about their personal tastes and the tone you want the gift to convey when it arrives. The order can be paid for online in your own currency. There is no charge for the accompanying card, which uses your message exactly as supplied. Read the message through before confirming your order, checking personal names and adding the signature you want the recipient to see when they open the card. Local landmarks such as 9/11 Memorial are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark. People locate the town by L A F A _ E T T E sign in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
The order must be placed before 12:00 local time for same-day flowers in Lafayette. For the delivery address, provide the recipient’s full name and telephone number along with the street, house number, postcode and town. If an entry code is needed, include it with the order. An address in Audobon Trace should retain that locality alongside the other delivery details.
Check the flower policy of the relevant ward before ordering for Ochsner Lafayette General Surgical Hospital, using the hospital’s own address for the destination. Use the hospital’s full address for Vermilion Behavioral Health, and ask the relevant ward whether flowers may be delivered. For a recipient at Lafayette Surgical Specialty Hospital, check with the hospital and ward that flowers are accepted, then use the hospital’s full address. The address for Ochsner Lafayette General Surgical Hospital is given as West Pinhook Road 1000; confirm the appropriate entrance or delivery point with the hospital before using this address for flowers.
A guest’s reservation name should accompany an order for Comfort Suites Oil Center, after you have checked with the hotel that a flower delivery can be accepted. Sending to Home2 Suites? Check acceptance with the hotel and put the reservation name on the order. Check with TownePlace Suites Lafayette South before sending flowers for a guest, and supply the name on the booking. For an order addressed to Comfort Suites Oil Center, the listed location is Rue Fernand 114; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
Sending flowers to someone at Broadmoor Elementary School? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient. Before sending flowers to Early College Academy, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free. When several people are giving the flowers together at Edgar Martin Middle School, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out.
An unavailable flower may be replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. Use the order notes to explain any timing request.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Before sending to a workplace such as Lafayette City Hall, check acceptance and include the organisation and department in the address.
When the destination is in Austin Cove, include the locality rather than leaving it out of the address.
If flowers are going to Saint John Cemetery, check the opening hours for the day of the service and agree a handover point rather than relying on a plot number.
If you are planning flowers for a meal at IHOP, ask the restaurant whether it can accept the delivery and give the reservation name and meal date when discussing arrangements; do not assume that flowers can be left on the table before the guests arrive.
Other listed options include gift baskets, plants and chocolates. Check availability for the product you choose.
When a funeral service is held at Cathedral of Saint John the Evangelist, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive.
