You’ll pick the city and day on the product
Ordering from abroad? A local florist prepares and delivers your flowers in Leisure World. Choose the flowers with the recipient in mind, thinking about their personal tastes and the tone you want the gift to convey when it arrives. Checkout lets you pay in your own currency. A personal message accompanies the flowers on a free card, using exactly the words you provide. Read the message through before confirming your order, checking personal names and adding the signature you want the recipient to see when they open the card. Local landmarks such as DC Sniper Victims Memorial are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark. People locate the town by Frank Lawrence Towers in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
Same-day orders for Leisure World close at 12:00 local time. For the delivery address, provide the recipient’s full name and telephone number along with the street, house number, postcode and town. Any required building access code should accompany the order. Where the delivery address includes Flower Hill, retain the locality when filling in the order.
Before sending flowers to The Barrie School, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free. When several people are giving the flowers together at Broome Junior High School, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out. A delivery for Frost Center is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department.
Flowers for a service at Aspen Hill Christian Church are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. For a service at Saint Peters Catholic Church, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed.
If a flower is unavailable, its replacement keeps the style and is of equal or greater value.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
An address in Norbeck should retain that locality alongside the other delivery details.
For a tribute intended for Parklawn Memorial Park, confirm with the cemetery where flowers can be accepted and which entrance or meeting point to use before placing the order; a cemetery name alone does not specify the handover location.
For a table booked at Ema Rossi Pizzeria, flowers are usually handed over at reception rather than carried to the table, so agree with the restaurant beforehand when and where they should arrive.
Other listed options include gift baskets, plants and chocolates. Check availability for the product you choose.
