Flowers Delivery in Zambia

Order before 14:00 local time and your flowers can be at their door the same day. We deliver Monday to Saturday, and a local florist handles the delivery at the other end. The morning after a first date is one of the very few moments a text message cannot carry on its own — sending flowers to Zambia takes a few minutes wherever you are ordering from, checkout is in your own currency, and the card message you write travels with the flowers, free and exactly as you typed it.

Choose from over 100 arrangements, and a florist in Zambia makes the one you pick and carries it to the recipient's own door.

More About Flowers Delivery in Zambia

Freshest stems, and the call if nobody answers

Bouquets follow the freshest stems of the day. An unavailable flower is replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style, and the swap is the florist's call, made on the morning the order goes out. The other unknown is the recipient: if they are not home when the delivery arrives, the florist will typically call them or arrange a redelivery. Neither comes back to you as a decision, and neither changes what you paid.

What does a Zambian address look like?

Zambia uses no postcode in general practice — a P.O. Box and town is what the florist navigates by, as in P.O. Box 30020, Lusaka. Give that in full, then the recipient's local phone number, which florists use to confirm availability and pin down the exact address before they set out. Where the address is a flat, the door code belongs in the order too — it is a checkout field, and it adds nothing to what you pay.

Something for a bedside, a desk or a doorstep

They are unwell and you cannot be there, and a bedside is one of the few places where flowers do real work. Fresh flowers cover most of that, and gift baskets, plants and chocolates go out through the same florists, so the gesture can suit the room it is landing in. Arrangements come hand-tied and wrapped in cellophane or paper, often finished with a ribbon. Start from where it will sit, then choose.

Roses in the dry season, and what grows nearby

Roses and carnations are grown in the Lusaka area. Rose growing benefits from the dry season, roughly May to September, when conditions are cooler and sunnier; the rainy season from November to April brings higher humidity and disease pressure that can constrain field quality. What a florist builds tends to be structured and colourful, roses mixed with tropical foliage, ferns and palm leaves, rather than the loose garden bunch you might be picturing. Chrysanthemums, lilies and gerberas fill out the counter alongside them. For a funeral, white flowers — lilies and white roses especially — are the conventional choice, and a wreath is the usual tribute form. Wreaths and formal funeral pieces need 24–48 hours' notice.

When should you order for the big dates?

Mother's Day, the second Sunday of May, and Valentine's Day on February 14 are the exception to the usual schedule — florists open for the big flower days, so your order can arrive even when the date falls on a Sunday. Order at least 48 hours ahead for both. Red roses are the common romantic gift, Valentine's Day above all. International Women's Day on March 8 brings flowers to women as tokens of appreciation, and flowers are also given as a gesture of respect to elders and dignitaries at formal events, which is more a nicety than a rule. Independence Day on October 24 brings wreaths and floral displays to commemorative events, and Christmas on December 25 puts flowers on tables and around the house.

Airports, hotel desks and office receptions

Someone mid-journey is almost impossible to reach with a delivery. An airport, a railway station or a cruise terminal is not a place a bouquet can wait, so send to their hotel, office or home address instead, timed for after they arrive. Hotel receptions ask for the reservation name and room number, so include both. A workplace works on the same terms: keep the delivery inside office hours, pick a day the recipient is actually in, and give the company name so reception knows where it is going.

Customer Questions

Flowers Delivery to Zambia — FAQs

Can I get same-day flower delivery in Zambia?

Yes — order before 14:00 local time and your flowers can be delivered the same day. Orders placed after the cutoff are delivered on the next available day you choose at checkout.

Can I choose the delivery date?

Yes. You can pick any future delivery date at checkout, and the calendar only offers dates that are available. Choosing the date yourself is the safest option around busy periods.

Can flowers be delivered to a hospital?

Acceptance depends on the hospital and ward — check before ordering; otherwise delivery goes to reception. Use the hospital's own city and full address, with the patient's full name and, where possible, the ward or room.

Can flowers be delivered to a care residence?

Yes. Include the resident's full name and, where possible, the floor or unit. It is worth checking the residence accepts flower deliveries; reception will usually pass them on.

Can I ask for a specific delivery time?

You can request a preferred time slot, but exact times cannot be guaranteed — deliveries follow the local florist's routes and workload for the day. The delivery date you select at checkout is honoured.
