Funeral and Sympathy Flowers in Ruderting

For a service at Kapelle, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there. For a service at Pfarrkirche St. Josef, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed. Flowers for a service at Rockerfing are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them.

Within the German tradition, a funeral wreath or arrangement may carry a Schleife, a printed ribbon naming the mourner; if you want a ribbon, specify the requested wording when discussing the tribute, including the names of those sending it. In practical terms, chrysanthemums, white lilies and white roses are customary choices for funeral flowers; use the occasion and the family’s preferences to guide the choice of tribute, and check the selected product for the flowers it includes. When discussing the flowers, a Grabgesteck may be placed on a grave for Totensonntag and, in Catholic states, for Allerheiligen; for a tribute intended for a grave, ask the cemetery about the precise location and its arrangements for accepting flowers.
