Same Day Delivery
A flower order for Lochmaben can be placed from abroad, with a local florist handling the arrangement and delivery. Choose the flowers with the recipient in mind, thinking about their personal tastes and the tone you want the gift to convey when it arrives. Your own currency is used for payment at checkout. You can write a message for the card without an extra charge, and the wording stays as you entered it. Check the wording and names before submitting the order, and include your signature or the names of the people sending the gift so the sender is clear. Mercat Cross is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door. Local landmarks such as Robert Bruce Statue are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark.

For same-day flower delivery in Lochmaben, place your order before 18:00 local time. Before submitting, include the recipient’s full name and phone number together with the destination’s street, number, postcode and town. If an entry code is needed, include it with the order.
If you are sending to a guest of Crown Hotel, check the hotel’s arrangements for accepting flowers and address the order using the name on the reservation. For flowers addressed to a guest at Dryfesdale House, first ask the hotel whether it accepts deliveries and use the guest’s reservation name in the order. If the recipient is staying at Kings Arms Hotel, ask about flower delivery arrangements and give the name on their reservation. The address for Crown Hotel is given as Bruce Street; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
When several people are giving the flowers together at Hightae Primary School, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out. Sending flowers to someone at Lochmaben Primary School? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient. Before sending flowers to Maben House, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free.
Flowers for a service at Lochmaben Church are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. For a service at St Mary Magadelene's Churchyard and Burial Ground, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there. If the service takes place at Applegarth Church, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it.
If a flower is unavailable, its replacement keeps the style and is of equal or greater value.
You may request a preferred delivery time, but an exact hour is not guaranteed: the request is a preference rather than a booked delivery appointment. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Before arranging flowers for someone at Lochmaben Hospital, check acceptance with the hospital and ward, then provide the institution’s complete address.
