Same Day Delivery
Order from wherever you are for flowers arranged and delivered locally in George Mason. Choose the flowers with the recipient in mind, thinking about their personal tastes and the tone you want the gift to convey when it arrives. Pay for the flowers online, using your own currency at checkout. A free card message is included, with your wording kept exactly as you write it. Before confirming the order, check the spelling of names and sign the message as you want the recipient to read it, especially when ordering for someone else. Confucius is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door. Local landmarks such as Fairfax County 9/11 Memorial Grove Garden are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark.

Allow for the time difference when ordering: the same-day deadline in George Mason is 12:00 local time. Before submitting, include the recipient’s full name and phone number together with the destination’s street, number, postcode and town. Any required building access code should accompany the order. Include the locality name on an order addressed to someone in Colony Park.
Before sending flowers to Flint Hill Upper School, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free. For a delivery to a teacher at The MIX, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person. A delivery for Olde Creek Special Education Center is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department.
When a funeral service is held at Fairfax Community Church, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive. Flowers for a service at Greater Little Zion Church are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. For a service at Saint Mary of Sorrows Historic Catholic Church, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed.
If a flower in the chosen arrangement is unavailable, the florist may use a replacement of equal or greater value while preserving the style of the arrangement.
You may request a preferred delivery time, but an exact hour is not guaranteed: the request is a preference rather than a booked delivery appointment. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
A flower order for a recipient at INOVA Emergency Room needs the hospital’s own delivery address and a prior check with the ward about acceptance.
When ordering for a recipient at Fairfax City Hall, check acceptance of personal deliveries and include the organisation and department in the details.
Keep the locality on the order when the recipient’s address is in Country Club View.
For a tribute intended for Fairfax Memorial Park, confirm with the cemetery where flowers can be accepted and which entrance or meeting point to use before placing the order; a cemetery name alone does not specify the handover location.
If the flowers are meant as a surprise at Andy's Pizza, say so when you book: staff can usually keep them out of sight until the moment you have in mind.
