Send flowers to someone in Poas without being there yourself: ordering is online, with preparation and delivery handled locally. For a personal gift, let the recipient’s tastes guide your choice of flowers and consider whether a relaxed, romantic or more formal style would suit them. At checkout, the order is paid online in your own currency. Add your personal message to the free card; your words are kept unchanged. Take a moment to review the names, spelling and signature before confirming, so the message you submit says what you intended and clearly identifies who it is from. People locate the town by Joaquín García Monge in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination.

The local ordering deadline for same-day flowers in Poas is 14:00. Use the full destination address on the order: street and number, postcode and town, followed by the recipient’s name and contact number. If an entry code is needed, include it with the order. Include the locality name on an order addressed to someone in Cerro.
Sending flowers to someone at Escuela San Felipe? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient. A delivery for Escuela Domingo Faustino Sarmiento is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department. When several people are giving the flowers together at Escuela El Alto, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out.
When a funeral service is held at Iglesia Central Espíritu de Vida, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive. If the service takes place at Iglesia Visión de Dios Internacional, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it. Flowers for a service at Iglesia del Corazón de Jesús are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them.
If a flower is unavailable, its replacement keeps the style and is of equal or greater value.
You may request a preferred delivery time, but an exact hour is not guaranteed: the request is a preference rather than a booked delivery appointment. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
A flower order for someone staying at Hotel y Mirador Pico Blanco should use the booking name; check acceptance with the hotel first.
Check whether Plantel I.C.E central telefónica accepts flowers for staff before ordering, and include the organisation and any department in the delivery details.
For someone in El Bambú, use that locality name within the delivery address.
Before ordering flowers for a celebration at Comidas Finca Lajas Donde Toño, check that the restaurant can keep them until the party arrives, and give the booking name so staff can match them to the right table.
The listed gift categories include gift baskets, plants, chocolates and balloons; check the selected product’s availability when ordering.
