Same Day Delivery
Ordering from abroad? A local florist prepares and delivers your flowers in Riccarton Central. Choose the flowers with the recipient in mind, thinking about their personal tastes and the tone you want the gift to convey when it arrives. Pay for the flowers online, using your own currency at checkout. The included card carries your personal message word for word, with no additional charge. Take a moment to review the names, spelling and signature before confirming, so the message you submit says what you intended and clearly identifies who it is from. People locate the town by Queen Victoria Statue / Christchurch South African War memorial in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination. Local landmarks such as Memorial Gate are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark.

Provide the street, number, postcode and town together with the recipient’s full name and contact telephone number. If an entry code is needed, include it with the order. An address in Murray Aynsley should retain that locality alongside the other delivery details.
Use the hospital’s full address for Princess Margaret Hospital, and ask the relevant ward whether flowers may be delivered. Sending to a patient at Laura Fergusson Brain Injury Trust calls for a check with their ward about flowers and the hospital’s complete delivery address on the order.
Sending flowers to someone at Kimihia Parents' College? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient. For a delivery to a teacher at St Michael's Church School, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person. A delivery for Hillview Christian School (senior campus) is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department.
Flowers for a service at Christchurch Nurses Memorial Chapel are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. If the service takes place at Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Temple, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it. When a funeral service is held at Rose Historic Chapel, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive.
An unavailable flower may be replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
A guest’s reservation name should accompany an order for Ibis Hotel Christchurch, after you have checked with the hotel that a flower delivery can be accepted.
When the recipient is at Canterbury Charity Hospital, the destination should be the hospital’s full address, after confirmation that the ward accepts flowers.
Where the delivery address includes Oaklands, retain the locality when filling in the order.
For a tribute addressed to John Rhind Funeral Directors, check the delivery arrangements and precise meeting point with the venue first. For a tribute intended for Linwood Cemetery, confirm with the cemetery where flowers can be accepted and which entrance or meeting point to use before placing the order; a cemetery name alone does not specify the handover location.
For a table booked at St Pierre's Sushi, flowers are usually handed over at reception rather than carried to the table, so agree with the restaurant beforehand when and where they should arrive.
Other listed options include gift baskets, plants, chocolates and balloons. Check availability for the product you choose.
Before ordering for a guest at Crowne Plaza Christchurch, ask the hotel about flower deliveries and confirm the reservation name.
Use the reservation name for a delivery addressed to Rydges Latimer, after checking that the hotel can accept flowers.
