Ordering from abroad? A local florist prepares and delivers your flowers in Queiroes. Choose the flowers with the recipient in mind, thinking about their personal tastes and the tone you want the gift to convey when it arrives. Your own currency is used for payment at checkout. Write your message for the included card, free of charge and without changes to your wording. Check the wording and names before submitting the order, and include your signature or the names of the people sending the gift so the sender is clear. Local landmarks such as António Variações are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark.

Allow for the time difference when ordering: the same-day deadline in Queiroes is 18:00 local time. When completing the delivery details, enter the recipient’s full name, street address, number, postcode and town, together with a contact telephone number. Add the building’s entry code to the delivery details when a code is needed. When the destination is in Cova, include the locality rather than leaving it out of the address.
If you are sending to a guest of Quinta do Burgo, check the hotel’s arrangements for accepting flowers and address the order using the name on the reservation. A guest’s reservation name should accompany an order for Vila Luena, after you have checked with the hotel that a flower delivery can be accepted. Use the reservation name for a delivery addressed to Casa do Carvalhal - Agro Turismo, after checking that the hotel can accept flowers. For an order addressed to Quinta do Burgo, the listed location is Rua do Burgo 475; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
A delivery for Escola Banda Filarmónica Amares is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department. Sending flowers to someone at Escola Primária de Amares? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient. For a delivery to a teacher at Escola Primária de Prozelo, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person.
When a funeral service is held at Igreja de Palmeira, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive. If the service takes place at Igreja Paroquial Soutelo, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it. Flowers for a service at Igreja de Adaúfe are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them.
If a flower is unavailable, its replacement keeps the style and is of equal or greater value.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Address flowers for someone at Câmara Municipal de Amares with the organisation and department clearly identified, after checking that personal deliveries are accepted.
For someone in Monte, use that locality name within the delivery address.
A delivery timed for a meal at Terminal Coimbra needs the reservation name and the sitting; ask whether an earlier drop-off suits the restaurant better than one during service.
