For a recipient in Chicago, you can place the order from abroad and have the flowers prepared locally for delivery. Think about the person receiving the flowers when making your choice, from their preferred style to whether the gift is personal or sent on behalf of others. At checkout, the order is paid online in your own currency. You can write a message for the card without an extra charge, and the wording stays as you entered it. Check the wording and names before submitting the order, and include your signature or the names of the people sending the gift so the sender is clear. People locate the town by Abraham Lincoln: The Man in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination. Local landmarks such as Central Station are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark.

Same-day flower delivery in Chicago has an ordering deadline of 12:00, measured in local time. Supply the full street address and postcode for the delivery town, and identify the recipient by their full name and contact telephone number. Provide the code needed to enter the building, where applicable. If the recipient’s address is in Gold Coast, keep that locality in the full delivery address.
Sending to a patient at Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital calls for a check with their ward about flowers and the hospital’s complete delivery address on the order. A flower order for a recipient at Shriners Hospitals for Children needs the hospital’s own delivery address and a prior check with the ward about acceptance. For a patient at Chicago Lakeshore Hospital, ask the relevant ward about flower deliveries before ordering and use the hospital’s address as the destination. Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital has a listed address of South California Avenue 1401; confirm the appropriate entrance or delivery point with the hospital before using this address for flowers.
When addressing flowers to a guest at London House Chicago, supply the booking name and confirm acceptance with the hotel. Check that Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago can accept flowers for the guest before ordering, using the reservation name to identify them. If you are sending to a guest of Hotel Riu Plaza Chicago, check the hotel’s arrangements for accepting flowers and address the order using the name on the reservation. London House Chicago is listed at East Wacker Drive 85; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
For a service at Cross Temple Church of God in Christ, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there. Flowers for a service at First Korean United Methodist Church are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. When a funeral service is held at Mayfair Lutheran Church, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive.
An unavailable flower may be replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. Add timing preferences in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Address flowers for someone at Chicago 10th Ward Office with the organisation and department clearly identified, after checking that personal deliveries are accepted.
For someone in Little Italy, use that locality name within the delivery address.
Confirm the delivery point and handover arrangements with Smith & Thomas Funeral Home before using it as the address for a funeral tribute. If flowers are going to All Saints Polish National Catholic Cemetery, check the opening hours for the day of the service and agree a handover point rather than relying on a plot number.
If you are planning flowers for a meal at Boka, ask the restaurant whether it can accept the delivery and give the reservation name and meal date when discussing arrangements; do not assume that flowers can be left on the table before the guests arrive.
The listed gift categories include gift baskets, plants and chocolates; check the selected product’s availability when ordering.
Before sending flowers to Holy Trinity High School, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free.
Sending flowers to someone at Roberto Clemente Community Academy? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient.
When several people are giving the flowers together at Sullivan High School, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out.
