Same Day Delivery
Ordering from abroad? A local florist prepares and delivers your flowers in Forest Glen. Choose the flowers with the recipient in mind, thinking about their personal tastes and the tone you want the gift to convey when it arrives. Checkout lets you pay in your own currency. Write your message for the included card, free of charge and without changes to your wording. Check the wording and names before submitting the order, and include your signature or the names of the people sending the gift so the sender is clear. Local landmarks such as Madonna of the Trail are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark. Peter Muhlenberg Memorial is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door.

The order must be placed before 12:00 local time for same-day flowers in Forest Glen. Give the recipient’s full name, street and number, postcode and town, plus a contact phone number for address queries. Where access depends on a door code, include that code in the order details. Address details for Norbeck should include the locality, street, number and postcode.
Before ordering for a guest at Cottage On 16th, ask the hotel about flower deliveries and confirm the reservation name. Check that The Children's Inn at NIH can accept flowers for the guest before ordering, using the reservation name to identify them. You will find Cottage On 16th listed at 16th Street Northwest 7129; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
When several people are giving the flowers together at Francis Scott Key Middle School, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out. Sending flowers to someone at Lafayette Elementary School? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient. For a delivery to a teacher at Our Lady of Lourdes School, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person.
Flowers for a service at Washington D.C. Temple are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. For a service at Beth-El Congregation of Montgomery County, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there. For a service at Saint John the Evangelist Church, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed.
If a flower in the chosen arrangement is unavailable, the florist may use a replacement of equal or greater value while preserving the style of the arrangement.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. Add timing preferences in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
For someone working at Maryland DOT Motor Vehicle Administration, confirm that flowers can be accepted and supply the organisation’s name and the relevant department.
When entering an address in Northwest, include the locality as well as the street and postcode.
A tribute addressed to Parklawn Memorial Park should carry the name of the person it is for and the time of the service: a cemetery covers more ground than a single address.
Before ordering flowers for a celebration at Mayflower, check that the restaurant can keep them until the party arrives, and give the booking name so staff can match them to the right table.
