Send your flower order for Margate online from abroad; preparation and delivery take place locally. For a personal gift, let the recipient’s tastes guide your choice of flowers and consider whether a relaxed, romantic or more formal style would suit them. When you complete the order, you pay online in your own currency. Add your personal message to the free card; your words are kept unchanged. Take a moment to review the names, spelling and signature before confirming, so the message you submit says what you intended and clearly identifies who it is from. Local landmarks such as French Visit are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark. People locate the town by Margate War Memorial Gates in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination.

For delivery on the same day in Margate, the order needs to be placed before 14:00 local time. Provide the street, number, postcode and town together with the recipient’s full name and contact telephone number. Supply any necessary door code as part of the delivery instructions. If the recipient’s address is in Nierinna, keep that locality in the full delivery address.
For a delivery to a teacher at Margate Primary School, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person. When several people are giving the flowers together at Channel Christian School, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out.
Flowers for a service at Kingdon Hall of Jehovahs Witness are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. For a service at Margate Christian Church, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed. For a service at Margate Seventh-day Adventist Church, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there.
An unavailable flower may be replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style.
You may request a preferred delivery time, but an exact hour is not guaranteed: the request is a preference rather than a booked delivery appointment. Add timing preferences in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Address details for Poverty Gully should include the locality, street, number and postcode.
If the flowers are meant as a surprise at China Story Restaurant, say so when you book: staff can usually keep them out of sight until the moment you have in mind.
You can also browse gift baskets, plants, chocolates, champagne and preserved roses, subject to the availability of your chosen product.
