For a recipient in Penguin, you can place the order from abroad and have the flowers prepared locally for delivery. Think about the person receiving the flowers when making your choice, from their preferred style to whether the gift is personal or sent on behalf of others. The order can be paid for online in your own currency. There is no charge for the accompanying card, which uses your message exactly as supplied. Read the message through before confirming your order, checking personal names and adding the signature you want the recipient to see when they open the card. People locate the town by World War I Memorial in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination. World War II Memorial is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
Enter the complete street address, postcode and town for the recipient, with their full name and a telephone number for contact. Provide the code needed to enter the building, where applicable. An address in Carmantown should retain that locality alongside the other delivery details.
If you are sending to a guest of The Madsen Hotel, check the hotel’s arrangements for accepting flowers and address the order using the name on the reservation.
For a delivery to a teacher at Penguin High School, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person. A delivery for North West Christian School is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department. When several people are giving the flowers together at Penguin Primary School, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out.
Flowers for a service at Penguin Uniting Church are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. For a service at Saint Mary's, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed. For a service at St Stephen's, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there.
An unavailable flower may be replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style.
You may request a preferred delivery time, but an exact hour is not guaranteed: the request is a preference rather than a booked delivery appointment. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
When addressing flowers to a guest at Neptune Grand Hotel, supply the booking name and confirm acceptance with the hotel.
If the destination is in Ferndene, retain the locality name as part of the full address.
If you are planning flowers for a meal at Mount Gnomon Farm Restaurant, ask the restaurant whether it can accept the delivery and give the reservation name and meal date when discussing arrangements; do not assume that flowers can be left on the table before the guests arrive.
The listed gift categories include gift baskets, plants, chocolates, champagne and preserved roses; check the selected product’s availability when ordering.
