Order before 18:00 local time and the flowers can reach them the same day, any day from Monday to Saturday. A new job, a graduation, an exam finally passed — the win is worth marking the day it happens, not the week after. Send flowers to Belize from wherever you are: you order online, and the arrangement is made and delivered locally. Pay in the currency you hold; the order is placed and settled online. Every order includes a free card message, printed exactly as you write it.

The news is still fresh today — pick from over 100 flower arrangements and set the delivery date at checkout, and a florist near the recipient takes it from there.

More About Flowers Delivery in Belize

The bouquet is built the morning it travels

Nothing is made in advance. A florist inside the country builds your arrangement on the day it goes out, from what came in freshest that morning. That is also why a stem is occasionally swapped: if a flower in the design is not available, the florist substitutes one of equal or greater value in a matching style. The value you paid for stays in the vase even when one flower in it is not the one you first pointed at.

Writing an address where there is no postcode

Belize uses no postcode — a P.O. Box number with the district or town name is what the florist navigates by, written as P.O. Box 123, Belize City. Include the recipient's local phone number as well; florists use it to confirm availability and pin down the exact address, which counts for more here than any line of digits would. And if the delivery is going to an apartment, add the door code at checkout, since a courier at a locked entrance is a delivery standing still.

What else can travel with the flowers

You are in one country and they are somewhere else entirely, which is the whole reason the flowers matter. Flowers are what we send here, and a gift basket, a plant, chocolates or balloons can ride along in the same order. What the florists have to work with shifts with the weather: tropical foliage and heliconias tend to be available locally year-round, with growth heaviest in the rainy season from June to November, while many finer cut flowers such as roses and carnations are imported.

Cayo, Toledo and the local tropical style

Cut-flower and foliage growing tends to concentrate in the Cayo District and the Toledo District. Heliconia, ginger lily, anthurium, orchids and bird of paradise are among the flowers grown locally, and the arrangements built from them run tropical and brightly coloured, with exotic foliage — palm fronds, ti leaves, ferns and philodendron leaves — doing as much work as the blooms themselves. Bouquets are usually hand-tied and wrapped in cellophane or paper. Roses, orchids, gerberas, carnations, lilies and heliconia are the flowers most often sent. Roses remain the customary gift for romantic occasions, and flowers paired with a card are a common gesture for mothers.

Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and the rest of the calendar

Valentine's Day on February 14 and Mother's Day on the second Sunday of May are the two peaks of the flower year. They are also the exception to the usual schedule — florists open for the big flower days, so your order can arrive even when the date falls on a Sunday. Order at least 48 hours ahead for both. Christmas, on December 25, brings poinsettias and seasonal arrangements into homes and churches, and on Independence Day, September 21, the national colours often turn up in floral displays.

Choose an address someone is standing at

Someone mid-journey — at an airport, a railway station or a cruise terminal — is almost impossible to reach with a delivery. Send to the place they are staying, working or living instead, timed for after they arrive, so the flowers are waiting for them rather than chasing them around. And if nobody answers the door, the florist will typically call the recipient or arrange a redelivery, so a quiet house is not the end of the order.

Customer Questions

Flowers Delivery to Belize — FAQs

Can I get same-day flower delivery in Belize?

Yes — order before 18:00 local time and your flowers can be delivered the same day. Orders placed after the cutoff are delivered on the next available day you choose at checkout.

Can flowers be delivered to a hospital?

Acceptance depends on the hospital and ward, so check before ordering; otherwise delivery goes to reception. Use the hospital's own city and full address, with the patient's full name and, where possible, the ward or room.

Can I send flowers to a hotel guest?

Yes. Include the guest's full name and, if you can, their arrival date or booking reference, so reception can match the delivery to the right guest.

Can flowers go to an office?

Yes — include the company name and, if you know it, the floor or department, and the delivery goes to reception. Pick a day the recipient is in, within office hours.

Can I send flowers to a care residence?

Yes. Include the resident's full name and, where possible, the floor or unit. It is worth checking the residence accepts flower deliveries; reception will usually pass them on.

Can I choose a delivery time?

You can request a preferred time slot, but exact times cannot be guaranteed, since deliveries follow the local florist's routes and workload for the day. The date you select at checkout is honoured.

How far ahead should funeral flowers be ordered?

Wreaths and formal funeral pieces need 24–48 hours' notice. White flowers such as lilies are conventional, and pieces are commonly sent to the funeral home or the church.
