Ordering from abroad? A local florist prepares and delivers your flowers in Blenheim. Choose the flowers with the recipient in mind, thinking about their personal tastes and the tone you want the gift to convey when it arrives. Pay for the flowers online, using your own currency at checkout. Add the words you want the recipient to read: the card is free and the message is kept unchanged. Check the wording and names before submitting the order, and include your signature or the names of the people sending the gift so the sender is clear. Local landmarks such as Blenheim Centenial Bell are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark. People locate the town by IODE Flagpole in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination.

Provide the street, number, postcode and town together with the recipient’s full name and contact telephone number. Remember to include the entry code if the destination requires one.
Before sending flowers to Blenheim District High School, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free. When several people are giving the flowers together at Harwich-Raleigh Public School, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out. Sending flowers to someone at St. Anne Catholic School? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient.
For a service at Saint Mary's Parish Church, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there. Flowers for a service at Community of Christ are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. If the service takes place at Glad Tidings Community Church, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it.
If a flower in the chosen arrangement is unavailable, the florist may use a replacement of equal or greater value while preserving the style of the arrangement.
You may request a preferred delivery time, but an exact hour is not guaranteed: the request is a preference rather than a booked delivery appointment. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Check whether Service Ontario accepts flowers for staff before ordering, and include the organisation and any department in the delivery details.
If you are planning flowers for a meal at Pizza Hut, ask the restaurant whether it can accept the delivery and give the reservation name and meal date when discussing arrangements; do not assume that flowers can be left on the table before the guests arrive.
