A florist in Vara Blanca handles the arrangement and delivery when you order from abroad. When choosing the flowers, consider the recipient’s tastes and whether you want the gift to feel personal, formal or understated for the person receiving it. The online payment is made in your own currency. There is no charge for the accompanying card, which uses your message exactly as supplied. Read the message through before confirming your order, checking personal names and adding the signature you want the recipient to see when they open the card.

For delivery on the same day in Vara Blanca, the order needs to be placed before 14:00 local time. Give the recipient’s full name, street and number, postcode and town, plus a contact phone number for address queries. When the entrance uses a code, add it before completing the order. When entering an address in Fraijanes, include the locality as well as the street and postcode.
If you are sending to a guest of Hotel El Churrasco, check the hotel’s arrangements for accepting flowers and address the order using the name on the reservation. Use the reservation name for a delivery addressed to Poas Volcano Lodge, after checking that the hotel can accept flowers.
If the service takes place at Antorcha de Fe, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it. Flowers for a service at Iglesia San Rafael are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. When a funeral service is held at Iglesia de Vara Blanca, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive.
An unavailable flower may be replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style.
You may request a preferred delivery time, but an exact hour is not guaranteed: the request is a preference rather than a booked delivery appointment. Use the order notes to explain any timing request.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Check with Peace Lodge before sending flowers for a guest, and supply the name on the booking.
For someone in Los Ramírez, use that locality name within the delivery address.
Before ordering flowers for a celebration at Big Trout Bar and Restaurant, check that the restaurant can keep them until the party arrives, and give the booking name so staff can match them to the right table.
