Order before 14:00 local time and your flowers can be in their hands the same day. We deliver Monday to Saturday, which covers both the mid-week thank-you and the Saturday morning surprise. And if it is no occasion at all, no birthday and no anniversary, that is often the bouquet that gets remembered longest. When you send flowers to Ghana you pay in the currency you already hold, and every order includes a free card message, printed exactly as you write it.
You started with someone a long way off and no obvious reason to send anything; the timing, the currency and the card are already settled, so choose a bouquet and pick the day it should arrive.

“Used Internet Florist three times now. Every single order has been fresh, beautifully arranged and on time. Genuinely the best online florist I have found anywhere.”
We deliver Monday to Saturday, which gives you six mornings to aim at rather than one narrow slot. Sunday is not a delivery day, so a gift meant for a Sunday is best timed for the Saturday before it. What arrives is built from what is freshest that morning: if a particular flower is not available, the florist replaces it with one of equal or greater value in the same style, so the arrangement keeps the look you chose. Order early in the week and you leave yourself room to move the date if plans change.
There is no traditional postcode in general use. Addresses here commonly use the Ghana Post GPS digital address instead, a code in the shape of GA-184-2846 that points at one specific plot. Give the complete address: the recipient's name, the street and house number or nearest landmark, the town and region, and the digital address code, plus a phone number for the recipient. Florists use that number to confirm availability and the exact address before they set out. If the delivery is going to an apartment, add the door code at checkout, which takes a second and costs nothing.
Over 100 bouquets are ready to send, and flowers are not the only thing that travels well. Gift baskets, plants and chocolates can go alongside a bouquet or stand in for one, and a potted plant is still going long after cut stems have finished. A new job, a graduation, an exam finally passed: mark the win on the day it happens, and if the news came at work, the plant is the one that stays on the desk afterwards. Pick the pairing before you reach checkout and it all travels together.
Roses, chrysanthemums, carnations, lilies, orchids and gladioli tend to be the stems you see most, arranged in the bold, densely packed tropical style local florists favour, with fern, palm leaves, dracaena and croton for greenery and a hand-tied wrap of cellophane or patterned paper. The country grows its own cut flowers too: roses, anthurium, heliconia and ginger lily, largely from the ornamental nurseries around Aburi in the Eastern Region, where the climate appears to allow fairly steady growing year-round, dipping somewhat through the rainy months of roughly April to July. Flowers carry real weight at funerals: large wreaths, often in white and red, are displayed prominently, many carrying the name or photograph of the person being mourned. Wreaths and formal funeral pieces need 24-48 hours' notice.
Valentine's Day on February 14 is the peak day for romantic flower gifting, common between partners in urban centres such as Accra, and Mother's Day falls on the second Sunday of May. Those two are the exception to the usual delivery week: florists open for the big flower days, so your order can arrive even when the date falls on a Sunday. Order at least 48 hours ahead for either of them. Christmas Day on December 25 brings flowers into homes and churches, as decoration and as gifts both, and Easter, running from Good Friday through Easter Monday on the Christian calendar, gathers families for much the same reason.
Someone mid-journey is almost impossible to reach. An airport, a railway station or a cruise terminal has no door for a florist to knock on, so send to the hotel, office or home address they are heading for instead, timed for after they arrive. And if the recipient is simply not in when the florist calls round, they will typically ring them or arrange a redelivery, so a quiet doorstep does not usually mean a lost order.
