Give the recipient’s full name, street and number, postcode and town, plus a contact phone number for address queries. Supply any necessary door code as part of the delivery instructions.
A flower order for someone staying at A for Art Design Hotel should use the booking name; check acceptance with the hotel first. A guest’s reservation name should accompany an order for Thassian Villas, after you have checked with the hotel that a flower delivery can be accepted.
Sending flowers to someone at Limenas 2nd Primary School? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient.
For a service at Saint Athanasius Church, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there. For a service at Saint Demetrius Church, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed. Flowers for a service at Saint George Church are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them.
An unavailable flower may be replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Before ordering for a guest at Makryammos, ask the hotel about flower deliveries and confirm the reservation name.
Before sending to a workplace such as Municipal Port Fund of Thasos, check acceptance and include the organisation and department in the address.
Before ordering flowers for a celebration at Dj's Pizzeria, check that the restaurant can keep them until the party arrives, and give the booking name so staff can match them to the right table.
You can also browse gift baskets, plants, chocolates and preserved roses, subject to the availability of your chosen product.
