Send flowers to someone in Shimoda without being there yourself: ordering is online, with preparation and delivery handled locally. For a personal gift, let the recipient’s tastes guide your choice of flowers and consider whether a relaxed, romantic or more formal style would suit them. At checkout, the order is paid online in your own currency. Add the words you want the recipient to read: the card is free and the message is kept unchanged. Check the wording and names before submitting the order, and include your signature or the names of the people sending the gift so the sender is clear. The Monument Of Wakayama Bokusui 's Poem is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door. Local landmarks such as The monument of the arrival of U. S. N. Commodore Perry's squadron are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
Allow for the time difference when ordering: the same-day deadline in Shimoda is 12:00 local time. Supply the full street address and postcode for the delivery town, and identify the recipient by their full name and contact telephone number. When the entrance uses a code, add it before completing the order. For an address in Higashinaka, include the locality together with the street, number and postcode.
A flower order for someone staying at Shimoda Tokyu hotel should use the booking name; check acceptance with the hotel first. Before ordering for a guest at Shimoda Yamatokan, ask the hotel about flower deliveries and confirm the reservation name.
A delivery for Asahi Elementary School is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department. When several people are giving the flowers together at Shimoda Elementary School, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out. Sending flowers to someone at Shimoda Higashi Junior High School? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient.
For a service at Ikonahime-no-Mikoto Shrine, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there. When a funeral service is held at Ryosenji Temple, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive. For a service at Gyokusenji, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed.
If a flower in the chosen arrangement is unavailable, the florist may use a replacement of equal or greater value while preserving the style of the arrangement.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. Use the order notes to explain any timing request.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Check with Hotel Izukyu before sending flowers for a guest, and supply the name on the booking.
For a recipient at Shimoda Medical Center, check with the hospital and ward that flowers are accepted, then use the hospital’s full address.
Include the locality name on an order addressed to someone in Horinouchi.
If the flowers are meant as a surprise at FermenCo. Pizza, say so when you book: staff can usually keep them out of sight until the moment you have in mind.
The listed gift categories include plants, chocolates and cakes; check the selected product’s availability when ordering.
