You’ll pick the city and day on the product
Ordering from abroad? A local florist prepares and delivers your flowers in Tateyama. Choose the flowers with the recipient in mind, thinking about their personal tastes and the tone you want the gift to convey when it arrives. The order can be paid for online in your own currency. You can write a message for the card without an extra charge, and the wording stays as you entered it. Check the wording and names before submitting the order, and include your signature or the names of the people sending the gift so the sender is clear. Local landmarks such as Shigeru Aoki Memorial Monument are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
Allow for the time difference when ordering: the same-day deadline in Tateyama is 12:00 local time. Provide the street, number, postcode and town together with the recipient’s full name and contact telephone number. If an entry code is needed, include it with the order. If the destination is in Hojo, retain the locality name as part of the full address.
A flower order for someone staying at Tateyama Seaside Hotel should use the booking name; check acceptance with the hotel first. A guest’s reservation name should accompany an order for hatoyamasou shouan, after you have checked with the hotel that a flower delivery can be accepted.
A delivery for Kokonoe Elementary School is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department. For a delivery to a teacher at Toyofusa Elementary School, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person. Sending flowers to someone at Funakata Elementary School? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient.
For a service at Daigan-in Temple, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there. For a service at Bando No.33 Nago-ji, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed. When a funeral service is held at Daifukuji Temple, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive.
If a flower is unavailable, its replacement keeps the style and is of equal or greater value.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. Use the order notes to explain any timing request.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
If you are sending to a guest of Opa Village, check the hotel’s arrangements for accepting flowers and address the order using the name on the reservation.
Sending to a patient at Kobayashi Hospital calls for a check with their ward about flowers and the hospital’s complete delivery address on the order.
Address flowers for someone at Tateyama City Hall with the organisation and department clearly identified, after checking that personal deliveries are accepted.
Keep the locality on the order when the recipient’s address is in Mera.
If the flowers are meant as a surprise at Maeashi Ramen Kakurega, say so when you book: staff can usually keep them out of sight until the moment you have in mind.
You can also browse plants, chocolates and cakes, subject to the availability of your chosen product.
