Flower Delivery in Kamakura

You do not need to be in Kamakura to order: a local florist prepares and delivers flowers sent from abroad. Think about the person receiving the flowers when making your choice, from their preferred style to whether the gift is personal or sent on behalf of others. At checkout, the order is paid online in your own currency. A personal message accompanies the flowers on a free card, using exactly the words you provide. Read the message through before confirming your order, checking personal names and adding the signature you want the recipient to see when they open the card. Local landmarks such as Earthquake Memorial Tower (Rengeji Temple) are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark. Great Buddha path is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door.

Ordering Flowers for Same-Day Delivery in Kamakura

Planning a same-day delivery in Kamakura? The ordering deadline is 12:00 local time. Give the recipient’s full name, street and number, postcode and town, plus a contact phone number for address queries. When the entrance uses a code, add it before completing the order. Include the locality name on an order addressed to someone in Hase.

Sending Flowers to Hotels in Kamakura

If you are sending to a guest of Nissan 鎌倉倶楽部, check the hotel’s arrangements for accepting flowers and address the order using the name on the reservation. A guest’s reservation name should accompany an order for Hotel New Kamakura, after you have checked with the hotel that a flower delivery can be accepted.

Sending Flowers to Schools in Kamakura

A delivery for Kamakura Jogakuin is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department. Sending flowers to someone at Seisen Elementary School? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient. When several people are giving the flowers together at Space-K, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out.

Funeral and Sympathy Flowers in Kamakura

For a service at Gokurakuji Temple, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there. When a funeral service is held at Josen-ji, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive. Flowers for a service at Keiunji Temple are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them.

Frequently Asked Questions — Flower Delivery in Kamakura

What happens if a flower is unavailable?

If a flower in the chosen arrangement is unavailable, the florist may use a replacement of equal or greater value while preserving the style of the arrangement.

Can I request a specific delivery time?

A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. Use the order notes to explain any timing request.

Which payment methods can I use?

You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.

What happens if the recipient is not home?

If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.

Where should I send flowers for someone who is travelling?

For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.

What details are needed for a hotel delivery?

If you cannot visit a guest at Hotel Mets Kamakura Ofuna, check flower acceptance with the hotel and use the reservation name when ordering.

For a thank-you addressed to staff at Fureai Kamakura Hospital, check flower acceptance and the department’s delivery address before ordering.

What should I check before sending flowers to a workplace?

Address flowers for someone at Kamakura City Hall with the organisation and department clearly identified, after checking that personal deliveries are accepted.

How should I include the locality in the address?

For an address in Kajiwara, include the locality together with the street, number and postcode.

Can I arrange flowers for a restaurant celebration?

If the flowers are meant as a surprise at AGIO natura, say so when you book: staff can usually keep them out of sight until the moment you have in mind.

What else can I send besides flowers?

You can also browse plants, chocolates and cakes, subject to the availability of your chosen product.
