Same Day Delivery
Order before 14:00 and the flowers can be in their hands the same day, with local florists delivering Monday to Saturday. A graduation, a new job, an exam finally passed: the win is worth marking on the day it happens, not the week after, and sending flowers to Micronesia is a five-minute job at your end while a florist on the islands does the rest. You pay in the currency you hold, and the order is placed and settled online, whatever time zone you are ordering from.
Choose from over 100 arrangements, set the delivery date at checkout, and a florist on the islands makes it up on the morning it goes out.
There is no postcode system in general use here, and addresses tend to run to a PO Box with the town and the island or state after it, as in P.O. Box 490, Kolonia, Pohnpei FM 96941. Give the complete address: the box number, the town, and the island or state, plus a phone number for the recipient - florists use it to confirm availability and the exact address before they set out. Apartment deliveries often need a door code, so add that at checkout too.
Hibiscus, plumeria, ginger flower and orchids are grown across Pohnpei, Chuuk, Kosrae and Yap, and the tropical climate tends to keep them blooming and harvestable year-round, which leaves little seasonal shortage and little reliance on imports. Wholesale supply moves through the Kolonia public market on Pohnpei. The style is loose and garden-picked, blooms strung or clustered rather than formally arranged: woven into leis, the flower garlands presented to honoured guests, graduates and visitors as a mark of welcome and respect, worn in the hair, or handed over as small loose clusters, with ti leaf, croton, fern and coconut palm frond for greenery. At a funeral, garlands and loose hibiscus and plumeria are placed on or around the deceased and the grave.
Graduation season runs from May to June, and a lei is the gift a graduate is handed as they come off the stage. Mother's Day, the second Sunday of May, and Valentine's Day are the exception to the usual schedule: florists open for the big flower days, so your order can arrive even when the date falls on a Sunday. Order at least 48 hours ahead. Christmas Day on 25 December brings garlands into churches and homes, and on FSM Independence Day, 3 November, and Constitution Day on 10 May, leis and floral hair decorations are worn through the parades and gatherings.
Someone mid-journey - a passenger at an airport, a railway station or a cruise terminal - is almost impossible to reach with a delivery, so send to their hotel, office or home address instead, timed for after they arrive. If the recipient is not home when the driver calls, the florist will typically phone them or arrange a redelivery. And if a particular flower isn't in that morning, the florist swaps it for one of equal or greater value that keeps the same look, so the delivery still goes out on the day you booked. Wreaths and formal funeral pieces need 24–48 hours' notice.
Sending from another country changes nothing at your end: you order online, and the arrangement is made and delivered locally. Someone unwell and far away is the clearest case for it - something bright for the bedside, sent on a day you know they are in. Every order includes a free card message, printed exactly as you write it, so the words that arrive with the flowers are yours. Write it at checkout with the rest of the order.
Yes - order before 14:00 local time and your flowers can be delivered the same day. Orders placed after the cutoff are delivered on the next available day you choose at checkout.
Alongside fresh flowers you can send gift baskets, plants and chocolates. Availability is shown for each product as you order.
Acceptance depends on the hospital and ward - check before ordering; otherwise delivery goes to reception. Use the hospital's own city and full address, with the patient's full name and, where possible, the ward or room.
Yes. Reception will ask for the reservation name and room number, so include the guest's full name and, if you can, their arrival date or booking reference.
Yes - include the company name and, if you know it, the floor or department, and the delivery goes to reception. Workplace deliveries should arrive within office hours, so choose a day the recipient is in.
You can request a preferred time slot, but exact times cannot be guaranteed - deliveries follow the local florist's routes and workload for the day. The delivery date you select at checkout is honoured.
