Same Day Delivery
You cannot be there, but the flowers can — order before 14:00 local time and they can be delivered the same day. Sending flowers to Palestine takes only a few minutes: it might be a birthday you are missing, or no occasion at all, which is often exactly what makes a bouquet memorable. Write a card message at checkout and it travels with the flowers, free and printed exactly as you typed it, and you pay for the whole order securely online in your own currency.
Choose from over 100 flower arrangements, pick the one that suits the person you are sending to, and a florist near them will make it up and carry it to the door.

Orders go out Monday to Saturday, so a bouquet sent at the start of the week and one sent on a Friday both have a working day to land on. Arrangements are made with what is freshest, and if a particular flower is not available the florist substitutes one of equal or greater value in a matching style — a swap made at the bench, at no extra cost to you. If nobody is home when the delivery arrives, the florist will typically call the recipient or arrange a redelivery. Wreaths and formal funeral pieces need 24–48 hours' notice.
Addresses here work without a postcode: there is no reliable postcode system in general use, so what you type in has to place the delivery on its own. Give the complete address: the PO box, the city, and the district or a nearby landmark, plus a phone number for the recipient — florists use it to confirm availability and the exact address. A landmark description does real work in an address here, so include whatever the neighbours would use to point someone to the door. Apartment deliveries often need a door code, so add it at checkout. And someone mid-journey, at an airport, railway station or cruise terminal, is almost impossible to reach; send to their hotel, office or home address instead, timed for after they arrive.
Alongside flowers you can send gift baskets, plants and chocolates. Roses, carnations, gladioli, chrysanthemums, lilies and gerbera are the flowers you will typically see here, and they tend to be arranged in the local manner: dense, brightly coloured bunches that mix bloom types rather than repeating a single flower, with fern, eucalyptus and asparagus fern filling out the shape. Presentation is usually a hand-tied bunch wrapped in cellophane or paper. Pick the bunch you want and the florist works to that shape and colour.
Flower growing is concentrated around Jericho, in the Gaza Strip and near Jenin, and roses, carnations, gladioli and chrysanthemums are the cut crops usually associated with them. Field-grown supply peaks in spring, from March to May; greenhouse production in Jericho and Gaza stretches it through summer, with imports filling the winter gaps. Wholesale trade passes through the Ramallah flower market. Bouquets are a standard gift at engagement celebrations, the khitbeh, and it is common to bring them when visiting a new mother or a patient in hospital. At funerals, wreaths of white or mixed flowers are customary in Christian Palestinian communities; flowers are less central to traditional Muslim practice, though arrangements are increasingly sent to the family home during condolence visits.
Mother's Day, on 21 March at the spring equinox, and Valentine's Day on 14 February are the exception to the usual week — florists open for the big flower days, so your order can arrive even when the date falls on a Sunday. Order at least 48 hours ahead of either. Red roses tend to be what couples exchange, especially in cities like Ramallah and Bethlehem. Eid al-Fitr, on the 1st of Shawwal in the Islamic lunar calendar, and Eid al-Adha, on the 10th of Dhu al-Hijjah, bring family visits and home decorating, and flowers move with them. Christmas, on 25 December and on 6-7 January for Orthodox communities, brings poinsettias and arrangements into churches and homes among the Christian minority.
Most orders for Palestine are placed from abroad, and the distance changes less than you would think. You order online from wherever you are, and the arrangement is made and delivered locally, which is why the bouquet looks like something bought down the road and not like something posted. Checkout is in your own currency, paid securely online. So if being far away was the thing holding the order up, that is the part that matters least. Choose the bouquet and the local end takes it from there.
