A florist in Casal do Quinta handles the arrangement and delivery when you order from abroad. When choosing the flowers, consider the recipient’s tastes and whether you want the gift to feel personal, formal or understated for the person receiving it. Checkout lets you pay in your own currency. There is no charge for the accompanying card, which uses your message exactly as supplied. Read the message through before confirming your order, checking personal names and adding the signature you want the recipient to see when they open the card. People locate the town by Dom Nuno Álvares Pereira in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
The same-day ordering cutoff in Casal do Quinta is 18:00, local time. For the delivery address, provide the recipient’s full name and telephone number along with the street, house number, postcode and town. Add any required entry code before submitting the order. Address details for Casal dos Matos should include the locality, street, number and postcode.
Sending to Hotel Residencial Batalha? Check acceptance with the hotel and put the reservation name on the order. For a guest at Pensão Gladius, confirm that the hotel accepts flower deliveries and provide the name used for the reservation.
Sending flowers to someone at Escola António Cândido da Encarnação? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient. A delivery for Escola das Cortes is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department.
For a service at Capela de São Jorge, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there. For a service at Igreja Paroquial de Barreira, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed. If the service takes place at Igreja de Santo António, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it.
If a flower is unavailable, its replacement keeps the style and is of equal or greater value.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. Add timing preferences in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Check that Hotel Villa Batalha can accept flowers for the guest before ordering, using the reservation name to identify them.
Before sending to a workplace such as Câmara Municipal da Batalha, check acceptance and include the organisation and department in the address.
If the recipient’s address is in Quinta da Pilada, keep that locality in the full delivery address.
Before ordering flowers for a celebration at Jota, check that the restaurant can keep them until the party arrives, and give the booking name so staff can match them to the right table.
Other listed options include dried flowers, silk flowers, gift baskets, plants, chocolates, perfumes, wine, champagne, preserved roses, cakes and balloons. Check availability for the product you choose.
