Send your flower order for Baffins online from abroad; preparation and delivery take place locally. For a personal gift, let the recipient’s tastes guide your choice of flowers and consider whether a relaxed, romantic or more formal style would suit them. Your own currency is used for payment at checkout. Your order includes a card at no extra cost, carrying your message without edits. Read the message through before confirming your order, checking personal names and adding the signature you want the recipient to see when they open the card. People locate the town by Portsmouth War Memorial in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination.

The order must be placed before 18:00 local time for same-day flowers in Baffins. The address details should identify the street and number, postcode and town, as well as the recipient’s full name and phone number. Where access depends on a door code, include that code in the order details. If the destination is in Appley, retain the locality name as part of the full address.
Check with the ward at St James Hospital before ordering flowers, and use the hospital’s own address for the delivery. Before sending to The Orchards, confirm flower acceptance with the ward and enter the hospital’s own delivery address.
Before ordering for a guest at Florence Gardens, ask the hotel about flower deliveries and confirm the reservation name. Use the reservation name for a delivery addressed to Premier Inn (Port Solent East), after checking that the hotel can accept flowers.
Flowers for a service at All Saints, Portsmouth are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. For a service at Church of St Philip, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed. If the service takes place at St Margaret of Scotland, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it.
If a flower is unavailable, its replacement keeps the style and is of equal or greater value.
You may request a preferred delivery time, but an exact hour is not guaranteed: the request is a preference rather than a booked delivery appointment. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
A flower order for someone staying at Spitbank Fort should use the booking name; check acceptance with the hotel first.
A flower order for a recipient at The Limes needs the hospital’s own delivery address and a prior check with the ward about acceptance.
Before sending to a workplace such as English Heritage Centre for Archaeology, Fort Cumberland, check acceptance and include the organisation and department in the address.
If the recipient’s address is in Lee-on-the-Solent, keep that locality in the full delivery address.
For a tribute addressed to Mayfields Funerals, check the delivery arrangements and precise meeting point with the venue first. For a tribute intended for Milton Cemetery, confirm with the cemetery where flowers can be accepted and which entrance or meeting point to use before placing the order; a cemetery name alone does not specify the handover location.
If the flowers are meant as a surprise at Padthai Thai Restaurant and Takeaway, say so when you book: staff can usually keep them out of sight until the moment you have in mind.
You can also browse gift baskets, plants, chocolates, wine, champagne and cakes, subject to the availability of your chosen product.
For a delivery to a teacher at Langstone Infant School, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person.
A delivery for College Park School is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department.
