You do not need to be in Dover to order: a local florist prepares and delivers flowers sent from abroad. Think about the person receiving the flowers when making your choice, from their preferred style to whether the gift is personal or sent on behalf of others. Your own currency is used for payment at checkout. Your message is reproduced without changes on the complimentary card included with the order. Take a moment to review the names, spelling and signature before confirming, so the message you submit says what you intended and clearly identifies who it is from. People locate the town by Battle of Britain Memorial in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination. Local landmarks such as Dover Patrol Monument are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark.

Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
Planning a same-day delivery in Dover? The ordering deadline is 18:00 local time. Include the full delivery address and postcode, the recipient’s name and a phone number the florist can use if details need checking. If an entry code is needed, include it with the order. Keep the locality on the order when the recipient’s address is in Buckland.
Before sending to Buckland Hospital, confirm flower acceptance with the ward and enter the hospital’s own delivery address. If you are sending flowers to someone at Victoria Hospital, first check whether their ward accepts them and enter the hospital’s full delivery address. You will find Buckland Hospital listed at Coombe Valley Road; confirm the appropriate entrance or delivery point with the hospital before using this address for flowers.
If you are sending to a guest of Dover Marina Hotel & Spa, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, check the hotel’s arrangements for accepting flowers and address the order using the name on the reservation. For flowers addressed to a guest at Premier Inn Dover (A20), first ask the hotel whether it accepts deliveries and use the guest’s reservation name in the order. Check with Travelodge before sending flowers for a guest, and supply the name on the booking. The address given for Dover Marina Hotel & Spa, Tapestry Collection by Hilton is Waterfront, Waterloo Crescent; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
If the service takes place at St George's, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it. For a service at St Peter & St Paul, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed. When a funeral service is held at Blessed Mary of Walmer, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive.
If a flower is unavailable, its replacement keeps the style and is of equal or greater value.
You may request a preferred delivery time, but an exact hour is not guaranteed: the request is a preference rather than a booked delivery appointment. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
An order addressed to The Maison Dieu should identify the organisation and recipient’s department; ask about personal deliveries first.
For an address in Maxton, include the locality together with the street, number and postcode.
If flowers are going to Hamilton Road Cemetery, check the opening hours for the day of the service and agree a handover point rather than relying on a plot number.
If the flowers are meant as a surprise at Nando's, say so when you book: staff can usually keep them out of sight until the moment you have in mind.
You can also browse gift baskets, plants, chocolates, wine, champagne and cakes, subject to the availability of your chosen product.
Before sending flowers to Aycliffe Community Primary School, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free.
A delivery for Barton Junior School is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department.
Sending flowers to someone at Dover Grammar School for Girls? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient.
