Same Day Delivery
A flower order for Kingsdown can be placed from abroad, with a local florist handling the arrangement and delivery. Choose the flowers with the recipient in mind, thinking about their personal tastes and the tone you want the gift to convey when it arrives. When you complete the order, you pay online in your own currency. Write your message for the included card, free of charge and without changes to your wording. Check the wording and names before submitting the order, and include your signature or the names of the people sending the gift so the sender is clear. Local landmarks such as Dover Patrol Monument are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark.

Provide the street, number, postcode and town together with the recipient’s full name and contact telephone number. Supply any necessary door code as part of the delivery instructions. For someone in Lower Walmer, use that locality name within the delivery address.
For flowers addressed to a guest at St. Margaret's Bay Hotel, first ask the hotel whether it accepts deliveries and use the guest’s reservation name in the order. For a guest at White Cliff Hotel, confirm that the hotel accepts flower deliveries and provide the name used for the reservation.
Sending flowers to someone at East Kent Sudbury? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient. For a delivery to a teacher at The Beacon School, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person.
For a service at St George's, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed. Flowers for a service at St Peter & St Paul are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. If the service takes place at Blessed Mary of Walmer, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it.
An unavailable flower may be replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. Add timing preferences in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
A guest’s reservation name should accompany an order for Waterfront Hotel, after you have checked with the hotel that a flower delivery can be accepted.
Sending to a patient at Victoria Hospital calls for a check with their ward about flowers and the hospital’s complete delivery address on the order.
When ordering for a recipient at Deal Town Hall, check acceptance of personal deliveries and include the organisation and department in the details.
If the destination is in Middle Deal, retain the locality name as part of the full address.
A tribute addressed to Hamilton Road Cemetery should carry the name of the person it is for and the time of the service: a cemetery covers more ground than a single address.
A delivery timed for a meal at Soul Food Takeway and Cafe needs the reservation name and the sitting; ask whether an earlier drop-off suits the restaurant better than one during service.
The listed gift categories include gift baskets, plants, chocolates, wine, champagne and cakes; check the selected product’s availability when ordering.
