A flower order for La Plata can be placed from abroad, with a local florist handling the arrangement and delivery. Choose the flowers with the recipient in mind, thinking about their personal tastes and the tone you want the gift to convey when it arrives. You pay online in your own currency. Your message is reproduced without changes on the complimentary card included with the order. Take a moment to review the names, spelling and signature before confirming, so the message you submit says what you intended and clearly identifies who it is from.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
Same-day orders for La Plata close at 12:00 local time. Enter the complete street address, postcode and town for the recipient, with their full name and a telephone number for contact. Where access depends on a door code, include that code in the order details.
Before ordering for a guest at Best Western, ask the hotel about flower deliveries and confirm the reservation name. If you are sending to a guest of Holiday Inn Express, check the hotel’s arrangements for accepting flowers and address the order using the name on the reservation. The street address listed for Best Western is Crain Highway 6900; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
For a delivery to a teacher at La Plata High School, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person.
Flowers for a service at Christ Episcopal Church are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. For a service at Grace Lutheran Church, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there. If the service takes place at La Plata United Methodist Church, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it.
If a flower in the chosen arrangement is unavailable, the florist may use a replacement of equal or greater value while preserving the style of the arrangement.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Before placing a workplace order for Charles County Courthouse, ask whether personal deliveries are accepted and give the organisation and recipient’s department.
For a tribute intended for Mount Rest Cemetery, confirm with the cemetery where flowers can be accepted and which entrance or meeting point to use before placing the order; a cemetery name alone does not specify the handover location.
A delivery timed for a meal at IHOP needs the reservation name and the sitting; ask whether an earlier drop-off suits the restaurant better than one during service.
