You’ll pick the city and day on the product
You can order flowers for Oakland online from another country, with local preparation and delivery. For a personal gift, let the recipient’s tastes guide your choice of flowers and consider whether a relaxed, romantic or more formal style would suit them. At checkout, the order is paid online in your own currency. The included card carries your personal message word for word, with no additional charge. Take a moment to review the names, spelling and signature before confirming, so the message you submit says what you intended and clearly identifies who it is from. People locate the town by Memorial to the Chinese Laborers in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
To order flowers for same-day delivery in Oakland, use the destination’s 12:00 local cutoff. The order needs the recipient’s full name, a contact number and the complete destination address, including its street number, postcode and town. For a building with coded access, supply the entry code at checkout. Address details for Oakmore Highlands should include the locality, street, number and postcode.
Before sending flowers to Emery Secondary School, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free. When several people are giving the flowers together at Peralta Elementary School, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out. Sending flowers to someone at McClymonds High School? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient.
For a service at Oakland California Temple, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed. If the service takes place at First Unitarian Church of Oakland, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it. For a service at Greek Orthodox Church of the Ascension, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there.
If a flower is unavailable, its replacement keeps the style and is of equal or greater value.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. Add timing preferences in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
When addressing flowers to a guest at Comfort Inn & Suites, supply the booking name and confirm acceptance with the hotel.
Before sending to a workplace such as Alameda County Public Health Department, check acceptance and include the organisation and department in the address.
For an address in Downtown Oakland, include the locality together with the street, number and postcode.
For a tribute addressed to Fouche's Hudson Funeral Home, check the delivery arrangements and precise meeting point with the venue first. A tribute addressed to Mountain View Cemetery should carry the name of the person it is for and the time of the service: a cemetery covers more ground than a single address.
A delivery timed for a meal at Sun Moon Studio needs the reservation name and the sitting; ask whether an earlier drop-off suits the restaurant better than one during service.
The listed gift categories include gift baskets, plants and chocolates; check the selected product’s availability when ordering.
