Order before 14:00 local time and your flowers can be with them the same day, made up and carried over by a florist on the islands. Ordering from another country takes a few minutes online, and checkout is in your own currency, paid securely. No occasion at all is often the version that stays with people longest — no birthday to explain, no anniversary to justify, just a bunch of frangipani arriving on an ordinary Tuesday afternoon. A card message comes with every order at no extra cost, printed word for word.
Choose an arrangement this morning, and a florist here will build it by hand and carry it to the door before the day closes.
“The bouquet was even more beautiful than the photo. Arrived fresh, perfectly wrapped and exactly on time. My recipient was absolutely delighted. Highest recommendation.”

Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
Deliveries run Monday to Saturday, and you choose the date at checkout from the days available. Island stock changes with what came in that morning, so bouquets follow the freshest stems of the day: an unavailable flower is replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style, and the arrangement keeps the shape and the colour you picked. If the recipient isn't home when the florist arrives, they will typically call them or arrange redelivery, and the order is rescheduled instead of lost.
There are no postcodes here. Addresses rely on a PO Box in the relevant town — PO Box 123, Port Vila, for example — so give the box number and the town rather than hunting for a code that does not exist. Include the recipient's local phone number as well, because florists use it to confirm availability and the exact address. Apartment deliveries often need a door code; add it at checkout. And if the person is mid-journey, an airport or a cruise terminal is close to impossible to deliver to — send to their hotel, office or home address instead, timed for after they arrive.
There are over 100 flower arrangements to send, with gift baskets, plants and chocolates beside them. The island hand is loose and tropical, built around bold foliage and bright local blooms: frangipani, hibiscus, orchids, heliconia, ginger lily and bird of paradise. Coconut palm fronds, croton, cordyline — the ti leaf — and banana leaf give the arrangements their frame, and bunches are usually hand-tied and wrapped in paper or leaves, the way they are sold loose at local markets. Pick the one that looks like them and the florist works from it.
Cut flowers here are grown on Efate and Espiritu Santo, where orchids, heliconia, ginger lily, anthurium and hibiscus come out of local gardens. The tropical climate lets many flowering species bloom year-round, with the driest months, roughly May to October, generally the steadiest for outdoor cut-flower supply. Garlands and leis are made and worn to welcome guests and to mark celebrations, and fresh flowers are commonly used to dress churches and homes for weddings and at Christmas.
Mother's Day, the second Sunday of May, is the common day for giving flowers to mothers, and Valentine's Day, on 14 February, is when flowers are given as romantic gifts. Both are the exception to the usual schedule: florists open for the big flower days, so your order can arrive even when the date falls on a Sunday. Order at least 48 hours ahead for either. Christmas Day, 25 December, is the other date flowers turn up in quantity, in floral decorations and as gifts at festive gatherings. Set the date at checkout and the florist works to it.
Saying goodbye from far away is its own kind of hard, and flowers stand in for you at the service when you cannot be in the room yourself. Woven leaf and floral garlands, frangipani and hibiscus among them, are placed on graves and used in mourning ceremonies here, and a florist can make one up for the family. Wreaths and formal funeral pieces need 24–48 hours' notice, so give the date of the service when you order and the address it should go to.
