You do not need to be in Dunedin to order: a local florist prepares and delivers flowers sent from abroad. Think about the person receiving the flowers when making your choice, from their preferred style to whether the gift is personal or sent on behalf of others. For payment, checkout uses your own currency. You can write a message for the card without an extra charge, and the wording stays as you entered it. Check the wording and names before submitting the order, and include your signature or the names of the people sending the gift so the sender is clear. Dunedin South African War Memorial is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door. People locate the town by Turnstile Building of former Carisbrook Stadium in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination.

The order needs the recipient’s full name, a contact number and the complete destination address, including its street number, postcode and town. Supply any necessary door code as part of the delivery instructions. For an address in Andersons Bay, include the locality together with the street, number and postcode.
A flower order for a recipient at Wakari Hospital needs the hospital’s own delivery address and a prior check with the ward about acceptance. Before sending to Ross Home & Hospital, confirm flower acceptance with the ward and enter the hospital’s own delivery address.
When addressing flowers to a guest at Kingsgate Hotel Dunedin, supply the booking name and confirm acceptance with the hotel. For flowers addressed to a guest at Mercure Dunedin Leisure Lodge, first ask the hotel whether it accepts deliveries and use the guest’s reservation name in the order. If the recipient is staying at Scenic Hotel Dunedin City, ask about flower delivery arrangements and give the name on their reservation. The location listed for Kingsgate Hotel Dunedin is Smith Street 10; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
Flowers for a service at All Saints Anglican Church are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. If the service takes place at Kaikorai Presbyterian Church, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it. For a service at St Matthew's, Dunedin, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed.
If a flower in the chosen arrangement is unavailable, the florist may use a replacement of equal or greater value while preserving the style of the arrangement.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. Use the order notes to explain any timing request.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Ask whether flowers are accepted by the recipient’s ward at Mercy Hospital, and address the order to the hospital itself.
For someone working at Dunedin Municipal Chambers, confirm that flowers can be accepted and supply the organisation’s name and the relevant department.
For someone in Caversham, use that locality name within the delivery address.
A tribute addressed to Andersons Bay Cemetery should carry the name of the person it is for and the time of the service: a cemetery covers more ground than a single address.
Before ordering flowers for a celebration at Cobb & Co., check that the restaurant can keep them until the party arrives, and give the booking name so staff can match them to the right table.
You can also browse gift baskets, plants, chocolates and balloons, subject to the availability of your chosen product.
Before sending flowers to St. Clair Primary School, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free.
