Ordering from abroad? A local florist prepares and delivers your flowers in Cortinas. Choose the flowers with the recipient in mind, thinking about their personal tastes and the tone you want the gift to convey when it arrives. You can complete payment online using your own currency. Add the words you want the recipient to read: the card is free and the message is kept unchanged. Check the wording and names before submitting the order, and include your signature or the names of the people sending the gift so the sender is clear. Local landmarks such as Arquitetura de Pedra are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark. People locate the town by Homenagem 25 de Abril in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination.

Allow for the time difference when ordering: the same-day deadline in Cortinas is 18:00 local time. The order needs the recipient’s full name, a contact number and the complete destination address, including its street number, postcode and town. Include an entry code with the order if one is required to access the building. If the recipient’s address is in Fornos, keep that locality in the full delivery address.
A delivery for Antiga Escola Primária is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department. Before sending flowers to Escola Básica do 1º Ciclo com Jardim de Infância de Outeiro, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free. For a delivery to a teacher at Escola Básica do 1º Ciclo com Jardim de Infância de Vilarinho, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person.
For a service at Igreja de Santo Isidoro, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there. For a service at Igreja de São Nicolau, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed. When a funeral service is held at Igreja Paroquial de Santa Maria do Freixo, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive.
If a flower in the chosen arrangement is unavailable, the florist may use a replacement of equal or greater value while preserving the style of the arrangement.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
If the recipient is staying at Quinta da Azenha, ask about flower delivery arrangements and give the name on their reservation.
Before sending to Hospital Santa Isabel, confirm flower acceptance with the ward and enter the hospital’s own delivery address.
Address flowers for someone at Câmara Municipal de Marco de Canaveses with the organisation and department clearly identified, after checking that personal deliveries are accepted.
For someone in Freixo, use that locality name within the delivery address.
If the flowers are meant as a surprise at Casa Do Outeiro, say so when you book: staff can usually keep them out of sight until the moment you have in mind.
Other listed options include dried flowers, silk flowers, gift baskets, plants, chocolates, perfumes, wine, champagne, preserved roses, cakes and balloons. Check availability for the product you choose.
