The same-day ordering cutoff in Puerto Viejo is 14:00, local time. When completing the delivery details, enter the recipient’s full name, street address, number, postcode and town, together with a contact telephone number. Include an entry code with the order if one is required to access the building. If the destination is in Boca La Ceiba, retain the locality name as part of the full address.
A guest’s reservation name should accompany an order for Hotel El Bambú, after you have checked with the hotel that a flower delivery can be accepted. If the recipient is staying at Malibu, ask about flower delivery arrangements and give the name on their reservation.
Before sending flowers to Escuela Boca de la Ceiba, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free. Sending flowers to someone at Escuela El Achiote? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient. For a delivery to a teacher at Escuela Javillos, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person.
If the service takes place at Iglesia La Esperanza, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it. Flowers for a service at Iglesia Metodista AGAPE are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. When a funeral service is held at Iglesia de La Gata, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive.
An unavailable flower may be replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style.
You may request a preferred delivery time, but an exact hour is not guaranteed: the request is a preference rather than a booked delivery appointment. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
For a guest at Hotel Selva Verde Lodge, confirm that the hotel accepts flower deliveries and provide the name used for the reservation.
For flowers addressed to someone at Juzgado Penal, Civil y de Trabajo de Sarapiquí, give the organisation and department and confirm that personal deliveries are accepted.
In practice, include the locality name on an order addressed to someone in El Jardín.
If the flowers are meant as a surprise at La Morenita Restobar & Vivero, say so when you book: staff can usually keep them out of sight until the moment you have in mind.
Other listed options include gift baskets, plants, chocolates and balloons. Check availability for the product you choose.
