You can order flowers for Otago online from another country, with local preparation and delivery. For a personal gift, let the recipient’s tastes guide your choice of flowers and consider whether a relaxed, romantic or more formal style would suit them. Your own currency is used for payment at checkout. There is no charge for the accompanying card, which uses your message exactly as supplied. Read the message through before confirming your order, checking personal names and adding the signature you want the recipient to see when they open the card. People locate the town by Arrowtown and Districts War Memorial in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination. Local landmarks such as Dunedin South African War Memorial are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark.

For the delivery address, provide the recipient’s full name and telephone number along with the street, house number, postcode and town. Include an entry code with the order if one is required to access the building. If the recipient’s address is in Albert Town, keep that locality in the full delivery address.
Sending to a patient at Wanaka Lakes Health Centre calls for a check with their ward about flowers and the hospital’s complete delivery address on the order. Check the flower policy of the relevant ward before ordering for Mercy Hospital, using the hospital’s own address for the destination. When the recipient is at Wakari Hospital, the destination should be the hospital’s full address, after confirmation that the ward accepts flowers. The address given for Wanaka Lakes Health Centre is Cardrona Valley Road 23; confirm the appropriate entrance or delivery point with the hospital before using this address for flowers.
When several people are giving the flowers together at St. Clair Primary School, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out.
If the service takes place at Coptic Orthodox Church, the tribute usually goes to the church rather than to the family’s home; confirm the time with whoever is arranging it. Flowers for a service at St Barnabas Church are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them.
If a flower in the chosen arrangement is unavailable, the florist may use a replacement of equal or greater value while preserving the style of the arrangement.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. Add timing preferences in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Before placing a workplace order for Waitaki District Council, ask whether personal deliveries are accepted and give the organisation and recipient’s department.
For a recipient whose address is in Broad Bay, keep that place name in the address you enter.
If flowers are going to Andersons Bay Cemetery, check the opening hours for the day of the service and agree a handover point rather than relying on a plot number.
A delivery timed for a meal at Excuse My Creps - French Crepes needs the reservation name and the sitting; ask whether an earlier drop-off suits the restaurant better than one during service.
