A florist in Picton handles the arrangement and delivery when you order from abroad. When choosing the flowers, consider the recipient’s tastes and whether you want the gift to feel personal, formal or understated for the person receiving it. Pay for the flowers online, using your own currency at checkout. You can write a message for the card without an extra charge, and the wording stays as you entered it. Check the wording and names before submitting the order, and include your signature or the names of the people sending the gift so the sender is clear. Mikhail Lermontov Lifeboat No. 10 is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door. People locate the town by Picton War Memorial in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination.

Use the full destination address on the order: street and number, postcode and town, followed by the recipient’s name and contact number. If the building requires an access code, provide it when placing the order. Address details for Waikawa should include the locality, street, number and postcode.
For flowers addressed to a guest at Beachcomber Inn Hotel, first ask the hotel whether it accepts deliveries and use the guest’s reservation name in the order. If the recipient is staying at Picton Yacht Club Hotel, ask about flower delivery arrangements and give the name on their reservation. Sending to Harbour View Motel? Check acceptance with the hotel and put the reservation name on the order. The listed address for Beachcomber Inn Hotel is Waikawa Road 27; ask the hotel which entrance or reception point should be used when arranging the delivery.
Before sending flowers to Picton Primary School, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free. When several people are giving the flowers together at Queen Charlotte College, put every name on the card message: it is written exactly as you type it and nobody has to be left out. Sending flowers to someone at Waikawa Bay School? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient.
For a service at Holy Trinity, ask which entrance is used for flowers and how early a tribute should be there. Flowers for a service at Holy Trinity Anglican Church are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. When a funeral service is held at Picton Baptist Church, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive.
If a flower is unavailable, its replacement keeps the style and is of equal or greater value.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
When ordering for a recipient at Harbourmaster, check acceptance of personal deliveries and include the organisation and department in the details.
Before sending a tribute to Picton Cemetery, ask which gate is used for deliveries and whether somebody needs to be there to receive it.
For a table booked at Scoozi!, flowers are usually handed over at reception rather than carried to the table, so agree with the restaurant beforehand when and where they should arrive.
