Arrange a flower delivery in Ilha de Moçambique online, even when you are ordering from another country. When choosing the flowers, consider the recipient’s tastes and whether you want the gift to feel personal, formal or understated for the person receiving it. You can complete payment online using your own currency. Include a personal card message at no extra cost, with the wording reproduced exactly as you enter it. Before confirming the order, check the spelling of names and sign the message as you want the recipient to read it, especially when ordering for someone else. People locate the town by Palácio de São Paulo in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination. Local landmarks such as Slave Memorial Garden are how the town is usually described, though a delivery is routed by street, number and postcode rather than by landmark.
Select a city to see local florists & same-day delivery options
Enter the complete street address, postcode and town for the recipient, with their full name and a telephone number for contact. If the building requires an access code, provide it when placing the order. If the recipient’s address is in Cidade de Makuti, keep that locality in the full delivery address.
For a delivery to a teacher at Escola Maometana, write the name in full and add the class or year group where you know it; the office or the caretaker usually takes the delivery in, so the clearer the name, the surer it reaches the right person. Before sending flowers to Escola Secundaria da Ilha de Mozambique, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free.
For a service at Capela de Nossa Senhora do Baluarte, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed. Flowers for a service at Igreja de São Sebastião are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them.
If a flower in the chosen arrangement is unavailable, the florist may use a replacement of equal or greater value while preserving the style of the arrangement.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. Use the order notes to explain any timing request.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
If you are sending to a guest of Omuhipiti, check the hotel’s arrangements for accepting flowers and address the order using the name on the reservation.
For a recipient at The Town Hall, include the organisation’s name and any floor or department, and check whether personal deliveries are accepted.
For a recipient whose address is in Stone and Lime Town, keep that place name in the address you enter.
Before ordering flowers for a celebration at Bar Restaurante Saquina, check that the restaurant can keep them until the party arrives, and give the booking name so staff can match them to the right table.
Other listed options include gift baskets, plants and chocolates. Check availability for the product you choose.
