You can order flowers for Canterbury online from another country, with local preparation and delivery. For a personal gift, let the recipient’s tastes guide your choice of flowers and consider whether a relaxed, romantic or more formal style would suit them. Checkout lets you pay in your own currency. A personal message accompanies the flowers on a free card, using exactly the words you provide. Read the message through before confirming your order, checking personal names and adding the signature you want the recipient to see when they open the card. Queen Victoria Statue / Christchurch South African War memorial is one of the places that identify the town; an order still needs the street, number and postcode to reach a door. People locate the town by Memorial Gate in conversation, but an order is matched to a street and a postcode, so give the full address of the destination.

The order needs the recipient’s full name, a contact number and the complete destination address, including its street number, postcode and town. If an entry code is needed, include it with the order. For a recipient whose address is in Huntsbury, keep that place name in the address you enter.
Use the hospital’s full address for Leeston Medical Centre, and ask the relevant ward whether flowers may be delivered. For a patient at Princess Margaret Hospital, ask the relevant ward about flower deliveries before ordering and use the hospital’s address as the destination.
Sending flowers to someone at Ashburton College? Say plainly who they are for — the teacher’s full name, and the class if there is one — because whoever signs at the door is rarely the recipient. Before sending flowers to Mountainview High School, name the member of staff in full on the order; if there is no class to point to, the caretaker can hold the delivery until the recipient is free. A delivery for Roncalli College is normally received by the school office or the caretaker rather than by the person it is for, so give the recipient’s full name and, where there is one, the class or department.
For a service at Christchurch Nurses Memorial Chapel, ask whether the flowers should be there before the family arrives, and where in the church they are placed. Flowers for a service at Arthur's Pass Chapel are usually taken in beforehand; the parish office can say how early the church is able to receive them. When a funeral service is held at Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Temple, confirm with the parish where flowers should be delivered and by what time they need to arrive.
An unavailable flower may be replaced with one of equal or greater value in the same style.
A preferred delivery time can be requested, but it is not a guaranteed appointment, so an order should not be planned around arrival at an exact hour. If timing matters for the occasion, describe it in the order notes.
You can pay online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal.
If the recipient is not home, the florist usually contacts them to discuss the delivery; a further delivery attempt may be arranged.
For someone who is travelling, use a hotel, workplace or home address where they will be after arrival, rather than trying to meet them mid-journey; confirm where the recipient will actually be on the intended date before choosing the delivery destination, especially when their plans include a change of hotel or an onward journey.
Use the reservation name for a delivery addressed to Braemar Lodge & Spa, after checking that the hotel can accept flowers.
Sending to a patient at Canterbury Charity Hospital calls for a check with their ward about flowers and the hospital’s complete delivery address on the order.
An address in Balmoral Hill should retain that locality alongside the other delivery details.
Confirm the delivery point and handover arrangements with John Rhind Funeral Directors before using it as the address for a funeral tribute. Before sending a tribute to Linwood Cemetery, ask which gate is used for deliveries and whether somebody needs to be there to receive it.
If the flowers are meant as a surprise at Altitude Restaurant, say so when you book: staff can usually keep them out of sight until the moment you have in mind.
Other listed options include gift baskets, plants, chocolates and balloons. Check availability for the product you choose.
Check that Novotel Christchurch Airport can accept flowers for the guest before ordering, using the reservation name to identify them.
Before ordering for a guest at Hanmer Springs Hotel, ask the hotel about flower deliveries and confirm the reservation name.
